Simply 18x20x1 Air Filter MERV 8 — 6-Pack Pleated Furnace & HVAC Filters, 3-Month Life

Simply 18x20x1 MERV 8 air filters are a six-pack of pleated furnace and HVAC filters designed to trap common household particles like dust, pet dander and pollen while maintaining efficient airflow.

These Simply Filters are sized to fit most residential and light-commercial return grilles and furnace housings, with actual dimensions of approximately 17.81" x 19.81" x 0.75". Built with a higher pleat count than many retail alternatives, the MERV 8 media balances particle capture with unrestricted airflow so your HVAC system can run efficiently for up to three months per filter. Manufactured in the USA from American components and delivered in heat-sealed packaging, the six-pack provides a straightforward way to refresh indoor air and reduce visible dust and allergens around the home.

How do these filters improve indoor air quality without choking my system?

The Simply MERV 8 media captures larger airborne particles while maintaining low resistance to airflow, helping your furnace or AC operate without extra strain. The increased pleat density expands surface area so the filter traps more particulates between changes.

• Rated MERV 8 for reliable capture of dust, pollen, lint and pet dander
• Higher pleat count increases filtration area without sacrificing airflow
• Recommended change interval: up to 3 months under normal household conditions
• Designed to fit common HVAC return grills and furnace filter slots

Will this size work in my home HVAC or furnace?

Yes — the listed nominal size 18" x 20" x 1" corresponds to an actual filter dimension close to 17.81" x 19.81" x 0.75", which fits most 1" filter tracks. If your appliance specifies an 18x20x1 filter, Simply is a compatible replacement for many brands.

• Actual dimensions provided to ensure proper fit in standard housings
• Compatible with many brands including comparable retail filters
• Slide-in installation; follow the airflow arrow toward the furnace/air handler
• Works in return grills, furnaces, heat pumps and central AC systems

How often should I replace each filter, and what affects lifespan?

Under typical residential use, plan on replacing each filter every 1–3 months. High-traffic homes, pets, active smokers, or heavy pollen seasons can shorten service life, while lighter use may allow longer intervals between changes.

• Standard recommendation: replace every 3 months
• Change sooner if visible build-up, reduced airflow, or increased dust occurs
• Homes with pets or allergy sufferers may need monthly changes
• Use heat-sealed packaging to keep spares dust-free until installation

What makes Simply Filters different from other retail filters?

• Made in the USA using 100% American components
• Higher pleat density for more capture area than many standard retail filters
