Seventh Generation Power+ Dishwasher Detergent Packs Fresh Citrus 70 ct — plant- and mineral-based, septic-safe cleaning

Seventh Generation Power+ Dishwasher Detergent Packs Fresh Citrus deliver plant- and mineral-based cleaning power in single-dose pods that cut through dried food and grease for sparkling dishes.

These dishwasher tabs combine enzymes and oxygen bleach to tackle stuck-on food without synthetic fragrances, dyes, chlorine bleach, or phosphates. Packaged in mostly plastic-free materials and USDA Certified Biobased 79%, the formula is designed to be effective while aligning with greener household choices. Each pod is a pre-measured dose, making loading the dishwasher fast and consistent.

How do these pods remove baked-on food and grease?

The Power+ packs use a dual-action approach: enzymes break down proteins and starches, while oxygen-based bleach helps lift stains and discoloration. Together they loosen residues so the dishwasher can rinse them away, reducing the need for pre-rinsing or scrubbing.

• Enzyme-rich formula targets protein and starch-based soils
• Oxygen bleach assists with staining and discoloration
• Pre-measured pods deliver consistent dosing each cycle

Are these dishwasher tabs safe for my septic system and eco goals?

Yes. Seventh Generation Power+ packs are formulated without phosphates or chlorine bleach and are labeled septic safe. The product carries USDA Certified Biobased 79% recognition and ships in packaging that is 90% plastic-free, helping reduce household plastic waste.

• 0% synthetic fragrances, dyes, chlorine bleach, or phosphates
• Septic-safe formulation for compatible systems
• 90% plastic-free packaging to cut single-use plastic

How should I use the pods for the best results?

Simply place one pod in the dishwasher detergent dispenser or on the bottom of the tub before starting the cycle; do not unwrap. Use the appropriate cycle for load soil level and avoid overloading the dishwasher so water and detergent circulate freely.

• One pre-measured pod per load — no measuring or spills
• Run a regular or heavy cycle depending on soil level
• Avoid overcrowding to ensure thorough cleaning

Will the Fresh Citrus scent leave strong fragrance on dishes?

The Fresh Citrus scent provides a light, clean aroma without synthetic fragrances; because the formula contains 0% synthetic fragrances, the scent is subtle and dissipates after the cycle. If you prefer no scent, check for scent-free varieties from the brand.

• Fresh Citrus offers a mild, natural-smelling finish
• Formulated without synthetic fragrances for a gentler scent profile
• Scent presence is minimal and usually disappears after rinsing

Who is this for? Seventh Generation Power+ Dishwasher Detergent Packs are suited to households that want a balance of strong cleaning performance and eco-conscious ingredients. Ideal for busy kitchens with stuck-on food where convenience matters, the pods are also a fit for buyers prioritizing lower plastic use and certified biobased content without compromising on grease-cutting power.
