Scotchgard Fabric & Upholstery Protector Spray, 3-Pack (3 x 10 oz) — Repels Liquids, Dries Clear

Scotchgard Fabric & Upholstery Protector creates an invisible shield on fabric that repels liquids and helps block stains without changing texture or color.

Everyday spills and accidental spots are inevitable — this three-pack of 10 oz aerosol cans gives you extended coverage to guard sofas, drapes, clothing, and soft décor. The formula dries clear and maintains fabric breathability, so treated items look and feel the same while offering resistance to liquids bead-up and simplified cleanups. It’s engineered for a wide range of washable and dry-clean-only textiles, making it a versatile addition to busy homes, rental properties, and workspaces.

How does this spray protect fabrics from spills and stains?

The product forms a microscopic barrier over fibers that makes liquids bead on the surface instead of soaking into the material. When fluids stay on the top, they can be blotted up quickly, reducing the chance of permanent staining and minimizing the need for aggressive cleaners.

• Repellent finish causes liquids to pool for easier blotting.
• Reduces absorption of common staining agents like wine, coffee, and oil.
• Helps prevent set-in stains by giving you time to clean spills.

Can I use it on delicate or dry-clean-only garments?

Yes — the formula is safe for many delicate fibers, including silk and wool, as well as items labeled dry-clean-only. It’s designed to protect without stiffening or leaving a visible residue, but always test an inconspicuous spot first to confirm compatibility.

• Suitable for silk, wool, and other delicate textiles when tested beforehand.
• Dries clear and maintains softness and breathability.
• Not recommended for suede, leather, or vinyl surfaces.

How long does the protection last and when should I reapply?

Protection longevity depends on how often the item is used and cleaned; high-traffic or frequently laundered fabrics will need more frequent reapplication. Reapply after washing, dry cleaning, or heavy wear to restore the protective barrier and keep performance consistent.

• Reapply after laundering or professional cleaning for continued protection.
• High-use items may require more frequent treatments than seldom-used pieces.
• The three-canned bundle provides enough product for multiple rooms or several garments.

How do I apply this product safely and effectively at home?

For best results, clean the surface first, hold the can upright, and spray evenly from the recommended distance. Allow the fabric to dry completely before use, and ventilate the area during application to ensure the spray evaporates properly.

• Test a hidden area before full application to check for colorfastness.
• Spray evenly from about 6–8 inches away; avoid heavy wetting.
• Let treated fabric dry fully before using or wearing.

Who this is for: homeowners with busy households, families with kids or pets, hosts of short-term rentals, and anyone wanting to prolong the life of furniture, curtains, and wardrobes will benefit from this value pack. If you need a discreet, easy-to-use fabric protector that won’t alter fabric look or feel and supplies coverage for multiple projects, this three-can Scotchgard bundle is suited to routine upkeep and occasional heavy-duty protection tasks.
