Scotch Repositionable Spray Mount Adhesive 10.25 oz — Removable, Acid-Free Clear-Drying Spray Glue for Photos & Crafts

Scotch Spray Mount Repositionable Adhesive is a clear, acid-free spray glue that lets you temporarily secure and easily reposition photos, papers, and artwork before making a permanent bond.

If you need precise placement for layouts, mock-ups, stencils, or photo mounting, this 10.25 oz aerosol delivers an even, low-wrinkle mist that holds pieces in place while still allowing short-term adjustment. Formulated to be acid-free and photo-safe, it dries clear so finished work looks clean and professional. The repositionable tack reduces waste and frustration during design and craft processes by letting you lift and re-seat materials for exact alignment.

How does this spray help when assembling layouts or mock-ups?

The repositionable formulation gives a temporary hold strong enough to keep elements steady while you evaluate composition and make trims. You can lift corners to tweak alignment without tearing or leaving visible residue, so prototypes and presentations stay neat throughout revisions.

• Provides a gentle tack for temporary placement and adjustments
• Dries clear to preserve a crisp, professional appearance
• Even aerosol mist covers large pieces like posters or contact prints
• Excess rubs away cleanly, reducing cleanup and rework

Is this safe for photographs and archival projects?

Yes — the adhesive is formulated to be acid-free, which helps prevent yellowing and deterioration of delicate papers and photos over time. Because it dries transparent and has a removable stage, it’s suitable for scrapbooks, portfolios, and short-term displays where preservation matters.

• Acid-free formula supports photo-safe mounting
• Clear drying avoids discoloration of artwork and prints
• Temporary bond helps avoid damage during repositioning
• Suitable for lightweight archival and display tasks

How should I apply it for clean, even results?

Shake the can well and hold it at the recommended distance to produce a fine, uniform mist across your surface. Work in a well-ventilated area, apply in light passes, and let the adhesive become tacky before laying down the material so it seats smoothly without wrinkling.

• Shake thoroughly before use for consistent spray
• Apply light, overlapping passes to avoid pooling
• Allow a few seconds for the adhesive to become tacky before placing items
• Use on a protected workspace to minimize overspray impact

What projects benefit most from a removable spray mount?

This product excels in situations where iterative adjustments are part of the workflow — graphic design mock-ups, photo layouts, classroom displays, collage work, and stenciling. It helps designers and hobbyists test placement and composition without committing immediately to a permanent bond.

• Graphic and print mock-ups for client presentations
• Photo mounting and scrapbook arrangement
• Stencil positioning and template alignment for craft projects
• Temporary exhibitions, displays, and visual merchandising

Who is this for: Designers, photographers, teachers, crafters, and DIYers who need a dependable temporary adhesive to arrange, adjust, and perfect paper-based projects before final assembly. If you value clean finishes, photo-safe materials, and the flexibility to reposition elements without damage, this Scotch spray mount offers a practical solution for both studio and classroom use.
