How does this keypad deadbolt simplify everyday entry?

The Schlage keypad removes the need to fumble for keys while offering programmable access for household members and visitors. Two pre-programmed codes let you use it immediately, while up to 19 custom four-digit codes let you manage who can enter and when.

• Enter codes on a silicone-coated keypad with LED backlighting for night use.

• Lock from outside with a valid code or press the Schlage button to lock after exiting.
• Patented key override provides a mechanical backup if needed.

• Fits standard door backsets and crossbores—measure door thickness before purchase.
• Includes necessary hardware and a pre-installed motorized mechanism.
• Works with a single 9V battery (provided) and features low-battery visual and audible alerts.
• Clear instructions reduce the need for professional help.

What security features protect my home with this lock?

• Operating temperature range supports varied climates for exterior installation.

How long will the batteries and electronics last?

The deadbolt runs on a single 9V battery included in the box and offers extended life under normal use. Schlage builds in a low-battery visual and audible warning so you have time to replace the battery before the lock becomes inoperative.

• Included 9V battery provides long runtime; typical life up to multiple years depending on usage.
