Sally's Organics Amber Glass Spray Bottles 16oz — 2-Pack Refillable UV-Protective Mist/Stream

These large 16 oz amber glass spray bottles combine durable glass construction with a heavy-duty trigger sprayer and a fine mist/stream setting, designed to protect light-sensitive contents while replacing single-use plastic. The set includes two bottles, two caps, and four writable labels so you can mix, store, and identify blends for cleaning, haircare, plant misting, or essential-oil-based projects. The amber glass helps limit ultraviolet light exposure, and the food-grade materials reduce chemical leaching from plastics.

How do these bottles protect essential oils and homemade blends?

The amber glass filters out a portion of UV light that can degrade aroma compounds and active ingredients, making it a better choice for light-sensitive liquids than clear plastic. Because the glass itself isn’t affected by strong citrus oils or isopropyl alcohol, it preserves the integrity of your blends. Keep in mind the sprayer has no particulate filter—strain recipes before filling.

• Amber glass reduces UV exposure to stored liquids
• Glass resists degradation from citrus and alcohols
• Includes labels to identify each mixture
• Not suitable for unfiltered liquids with particles

Will the spray nozzle handle different spray types and viscosities?

The included nozzle offers adjustable output between a fine mist and a more focused stream, useful for hair sprays, plant misting, and light cleaning solutions. The heavy-duty trigger is built for repeated use and a comfortable grip, but thicker gels or solutions with particles should be avoided. If you plan to use alcohol-based cleaners, ensure the nozzle is rinsed afterward to maintain performance.

• Adjustable mist-to-stream sprayer for varied tasks
• Durable trigger designed for frequent use
• Avoid viscous or particulate-containing solutions
• Rinse after alcohol-based formulas to extend nozzle life

Are these bottles safe and eco-friendly for everyday household use?

Yes — the glass construction and reusable design reduce reliance on disposable plastic bottles and lower potential plastic chemical exposure. These bottles are labeled food-grade for safe contact with edible items like vinegar solutions or water used to wash vegetables. They arrive with four labels so you can mark contents, dates, or dilution ratios for safer household use.

• Reusable glass cuts down single-use plastic waste
• Food-grade materials suitable for many household liquids
• Lifetime warranty supports long-term use
• Comes with labels for clear content identification

How do I maintain and clean these amber glass spray bottles?

Cleaning is simple: empty and rinse with warm water after each use, then periodically wash with a mild detergent and let air dry. For stubborn residues, soak in a vinegar-water solution or dilute isopropyl alcohol (if compatible with the contents previously stored), then rinse thoroughly. Never pour solutions containing visible particles into the sprayer; filter them first to prevent clogging.

• Rinse after each use; wash periodically with mild soap
• Soak in vinegar-water or dilute alcohol for deeper cleaning
• Filter particulate matter before filling to avoid clogs
• Allow bottles to air dry fully before reassembly
