RunningSnail Hand Crank Radio 2000mAh — NOAA-capable Emergency Radio with Solar & LED Flashlight

RunningSnail's Hand Crank Radio is a compact emergency radio with NOAA-capable AM/FM reception, a 2000mAh rechargeable battery, solar and crank charging, plus a bright LED flashlight for reliable power and light in outages.

Keep essential communication and light at hand during power failures, storms, or outdoor trips. This small, lightweight unit combines multiple charging methods — hand crank, built-in solar panel, and an internal 2000mAh battery — so you can receive weather updates, tune into AM/FM broadcasts, and charge a phone when needed. The retractable antenna and sturdy design make it suitable for both home emergency kits and backpacks.

How does this radio keep me informed during severe weather?

The radio picks up AM and FM broadcasts and supports NOAA-style weather alerts so you can get timely local notices and storm updates without relying on internet service. A retractable antenna improves reception in weaker signal areas, helping ensure broadcasts come through clearly.

• AM/FM bands for news and local stations
• NOAA-compatible weather alert reception
• Retractable antenna for better signal strength

What power options are available when the grid goes down?

This device offers three independent ways to generate power: manual hand cranking, a built-in solar panel, and an internal rechargeable battery. The 2000mAh battery stores charge for later use and can supply emergency power to USB devices like phones.

• 2000mAh internal battery for stored energy
• Hand crank to generate immediate power without sunlight
• Solar panel to top up the battery during daytime
• USB output to charge phones or small electronics

How bright is the flashlight and what else does the unit do?

The integrated 1W LED provides clear task lighting for reading, inspecting supplies, or signaling in the dark. Beyond the lamp, the radio’s compact size and light weight make it easy to carry in a go-bag, and controls are straightforward for quick use under stress.

• 1W high-brightness LED for illumination and signaling
• Compact dimensions (about 5 x 1.8 x 2.4 inches) and 0.5 lb weight
• Simple tuning and volume knobs for quick access

How reliable is reception and portability for outdoor trips?

The unit’s antenna and AM/FM tuner deliver dependable reception in many environments, while the small footprint lets you stow it easily in a pack or drawer. It’s built for situations where light, information, and backup charging are priorities rather than hi-fi audio.

• Retractable antenna improves remote-area reception
• Lightweight construction for easy transport
• Durable housing suited for travel and emergency kits
