Rubbermaid Commercial Products HYGEN 18in Quick-Connect Spray Mop Frame - Silver, Heavy-Duty Microfiber, Ergonomic

Rubbermaid Commercial HYGEN 18" Quick-Connect Spray Mop Frame is a heavy-duty, quick-connect spray mop system designed for commercial cleaning that delivers bucketless mopping, ergonomic handling, and high-efficacy microfiber cleaning.

The HYGEN PULSE spray mop system from Rubbermaid Commercial Products replaces bulky string mops and traditional buckets with a refillable spray reservoir and 18" quick-connect frame, helping janitorial teams cover more floor area with less effort. Built for professional and industrial settings, the system uses split-blend microfiber pads that lift soils and liquids while the ergonomic trigger and non-slip handle features reduce operator fatigue and slips. This product description explains how the system works, what it includes, and whether it fits your facility needs.

How does the HYGEN PULSE system make commercial mopping faster?

The integrated reservoir and trigger allow on-demand spraying, so cleaners no longer stop to fill buckets or wring mop heads repeatedly. The 18" frame covers wide swaths of floor with each pass and the quick-connect pad system speeds pad changes between areas.

• Refillable reservoir cleans up to 850 sq ft per fill.
• Three streams of solution with each trigger press for even coverage.
• 18" frame for broader coverage than narrow string mops.
• Quick-connect frame connects to HYGEN pads in seconds.

What cleaning performance can I expect from the microfiber pads?

HYGEN microfiber pads are engineered with a split blended construction that traps dirt, dust, and soils for effective removal across hard surfaces. Third-party testing indicates the mop system removes a high percentage of certain tested bacteria and viruses using water only, demonstrating strong mechanical cleaning performance when paired with appropriate cleaners.

• Split blended microfiber captures particles and liquids efficiently.
• Removes soils mechanically, reducing reliance on heavy scrubbing.
• Pad construction compatible with quick-connect 18" frame.
• Reusable pads that are machine washable for repeated use.

Is the HYGEN mop comfortable and safe for staff to use all day?

The design prioritizes ergonomics and safety to lower strain and reduce slip risks. A lightweight 56" handle and an ergonomic trigger reduce wrist and arm fatigue, while a non-slip tip lets the handle lean against hard surfaces without sliding for quick rests between tasks.

• Weighs about 4 lbs when fully loaded for easy maneuvering.
• Ergonomic trigger dispenses controlled spray to limit overuse.
• Non-slip handle tip prevents accidental falls of the mop during breaks.
• Patented reservoir dispenses solution evenly for efficient figure-eight mopping.

What comes in the box and how does it fit into my current toolkit?
