ROYAL CANIN Adult Instinctive Wet Cat Food, Thin Slices in Gravy — 3 oz Pack of 12, Supports Healthy Weight & Digestion

ROYAL CANIN Adult Instinctive Thin Slices in Gravy is a science-formulated wet cat food that balances proteins, fats and carbs in thin, gravy-coated slices to support healthy adult weight and digestion.

Developed from decades of feline nutrition research, this canned formula offers targeted daily nutrition for adult cats aged 1–7 years. The recipe combines thin, easy-to-eat slices in a flavorful gravy with a nutrient profile designed to match adult cats' instinctive preferences for energy sources. That balance helps satisfy picky eaters while supplying the vitamins and minerals needed for routine maintenance of body condition and digestive comfort.

How does this food help manage my indoor cat’s weight?

The formula provides an energy distribution from proteins, fats and carbohydrates selected to support an adult cat’s daily needs, which can help reduce excess calorie intake that often occurs in indoor lifestyles. Combined with portion control and regular activity, it can aid in maintaining an ideal body condition.

• Controlled energy density tailored for adult activity levels
• High-quality protein to support lean mass
• Palatable gravy encourages normal eating without overfeeding

Is this suitable for picky or fussy eaters?

Yes — the thin slices in gravy are designed to appeal to cats that prefer texture and wetted foods. The specific ratio of proteins, fats and carbs reflects common feline taste and texture preferences, improving acceptance in many selective eaters.

• Thin, soft slices easily recognized and consumed by finicky cats
• Gravy enhances aroma and mouthfeel to increase palatability
• Consistent formula reduces mealtime variability that can deter picky cats

Will this food support healthy digestion?

The recipe includes nutrients and a balanced formulation intended to promote normal digestive function in adult cats. Its ingredients and nutrient profile are selected to be gentle on digestion while delivering essential vitamins and minerals for everyday health.

• Formulated for adult digestive tolerance and nutrient absorption
• Balanced vitamin and mineral mix for routine gut and overall support
• Wet texture helps increase moisture intake, supporting digestion

Can I mix this with dry Royal Canin formulas?

Mixing wet and dry diets is a common feeding practice to add variety and texture while rounding out nutrition. Royal Canin suggests combining this wet formula with compatible dry formulas to create a balanced meal plan that meets both macronutrient and moisture needs.

• Wet-plus-dry combinations add hydration and texture diversity
• Portioning guidelines help maintain total daily caloric balance
• Mixing can improve acceptance for cats transitioning between formats

Who is this for: ROYAL CANIN Adult Instinctive Thin Slices in Gravy is aimed at adult cats (ages 1–7) and owners seeking a scientifically informed wet diet to support routine weight management, digestion, and palatability. It fits households with picky eaters, indoor cats with lower activity levels, or multi-cat homes where consistent daily nutrition helps manage body condition. As with any diet change, consult your veterinarian about feeding amounts and compatibility with your cat’s individual health needs.
