RMF Universal Magic Remote for LG TVs MR23GA Replacement — Pointer, Voice, 2018–2024 OLED/QNED/NanoCell/MiniLED

RMF Universal replacement Magic Remote MR23GA provides full pointer control, one-touch streaming shortcuts, and voice input compatible with many LG OLED, QNED, NanoCell and MiniLED Smart TVs from 2018–2024.

This remote is designed as a drop-in replacement for a wide range of LG TV models (MR23GA and compatible variants). It supports pointer navigation, built-in microphone voice commands, and six pre-programmed app buttons so you can jump straight to streaming services. No pairing or special setup is required — just insert two AA batteries and start using your TV immediately.

Which LG TVs will this RMF remote work with?

The RMF remote is engineered to match LG Magic Remote protocols used on 2018–2024 TVs, covering many OLED, QNED, NanoCell and MiniLED lines. It lists compatibility with MR24GA, MR23GA, MR22GA and other series numbers and supports a very broad model range.

• Compatible with OLED C1–C4, A/B/G series, and UR8000 family
• Works with QNED and NanoCell models including multiple 55"–86" variants
• Supports older MR18–MR21 remote-compatible TVs
• Ideal when original remote is lost or broken

How do the voice and pointer features improve daily use?

Pointer control lets you move an on-screen cursor by aiming the remote, making navigation faster than directional keys alone. Voice input helps search, launch apps, and control playback without typing, speeding common tasks and making the TV more accessible.

• Pointer for precise menu and web navigation
• Built-in mic for spoken searches and commands
• Reduces time spent typing on-screen with virtual keyboard
• Good for smart home voice integrations on supported LG sets

What quick-access buttons and media controls are included?

Six shortcut keys provide instant access to popular streaming services and features so you can start watching with a single press. Standard transport, volume, and home controls follow the familiar Magic Remote layout to match your TV’s expected behavior.

• Dedicated buttons for Netflix, other streaming apps, and Alexa
• Standard play/pause, skip, back, volume, and channel keys
• Home and settings buttons mirror original remote layout
• Simplifies switching between live TV and streaming apps

Is setup complicated and what do I need to get started?

Setup is intentionally minimal: this RMF remote requires two AA batteries (not included) and works immediately without pairing on compatible models. That makes it a convenient swap-in replacement when your original remote is missing or malfunctioning.

• No app or Bluetooth pairing necessary for most supported LG TVs
• Insert two AA batteries and point at the TV to use
• Check your TV model against the compatibility list if unsure
• Works as an OEM-style replacement for daily control needs

Who this remote is for: If you own a compatible LG OLED, QNED, NanoCell, MiniLED or UHD TV from 2018 through 2024 and need a fully functional replacement with pointer and voice control, the RMF MR23GA is built to restore the full Magic Remote experience. It’s a practical choice for households that stream frequently, want faster navigation, or need an immediate alternative when the original remote is lost or damaged.
