Ring Small Solar Panel 1.9W USB-C Charger — Black, Compact Weather‑Resistant Panel with Adjustable Mount

Ring Small Solar Panel 1.9W is a compact, weather-resistant solar charger designed to keep compatible Ring battery cameras powered by converting sunlight into continuous charging through a USB-C connection.

The Small Solar Panel brings the same improved solar cell technology found in Ring's second-generation panels into a smaller footprint ideal for tight mounting locations. It connects directly to supported Ring cameras and Spotlight units with a built-in USB-C lead and includes an adapter for older Ring models. The kit ships with an adjustable mount, cable management accessories and hardware so you can position the panel for optimal sun exposure and tidy installation.

How does this small solar panel maintain a Ring camera's battery?

The panel delivers a steady trickle charge by converting daylight into electrical energy, helping extend run time and reduce how often you manually recharge camera batteries. Performance depends on direct sunlight availability; Ring recommends several hours of sun per day for best results. The USB-C output supplies compatible Ring cameras directly, and the included adapter adds backward compatibility for legacy models.

• 1.9W rated power with upgraded solar technology for consistent low-voltage charging.
• Built-in 6.5 ft (2 m) USB-C cable for flexible placement and easy routing.
• USB-C to barrel plug adapter included for older Ring camera models.
• Recommended 3–4 hours of direct sunlight per day for optimal performance.

Which Ring products are compatible with this solar panel?

The Small Solar Panel works natively with Ring devices that accept USB-C power, and it’s backward-compatible with select older models using the included adapter. Before purchase, confirm your camera model supports external solar charging or USB input. The panel is especially suited to battery-powered Outdoor Cams and Spotlight Cams that need frequent recharging.

• Native USB-C compatibility with Outdoor Cam Plus, Outdoor Cam (Stick Up Cam), Stick Up Cam Pro, Spotlight Cam Plus, Spotlight Cam Pro.
• Includes USB-C to barrel adapter for Ring Outdoor Cam (Stick Up Cam) 2nd/3rd Gen and Spotlight Cam Battery.
• Works best when mounted where it receives consistent sunlight exposure throughout the day.

How do you install and aim the Small Solar Panel for best results?

Installation is straightforward: mount the adjustable base with the supplied screws, attach the panel, and route the USB-C cable to the camera. The mounting arm offers 360° rotation and 180° tilt so you can point the panel toward direct sun. Built-in cable management and included clips keep the run clean and secure against the wall or eaves.

• Adjustable arm allows full rotation and tilt for precise solar alignment.
• 6.5 ft (2 m) cable length with integrated clips for tidy routing and reduced strain.
• Mounting hardware and anchors included for quick wall or soffit installation.

What else is included and what should you expect in daily use?

The package contains the Small Solar Panel (2nd Generation USB-C cable), the adjustable mounting base with cable management, the USB-C to barrel plug adapter, mounting screws and anchors, cable clips, and a user guide. In everyday use, the panel provides a continuous top-up charge rather than a fast bulk recharge — it’s made to reduce maintenance, not replace occasional battery swaps if sunlight is limited.

• Complete kit: panel, adapter, mount, screws, anchors, clips, and manual.
• Designed as a maintenance charger to keep devices topped up with daylight.
• Durable, weather-resistant construction suitable for outdoor mounting.

Who is this for? The Ring Small Solar Panel 1.9W is suited for homeowners and renters who use Ring battery-powered Outdoor and Spotlight cameras and want a low-effort way to keep devices charged. It’s ideal when mounting space is limited or when you prefer a compact solar solution that blends into siding, under eaves, or beside cameras. Choose this panel if you have reliable daily sun exposure and want to reduce how often you manually recharge your camera batteries.
