Rhino USA Trailer Coupler Lock Kit for 2in Trailers — Powder-Coated Steel Anti-Theft with Lifetime Replacement

Rhino USA's Trailer Coupler Lock Kit is a heavy-duty, powder-coated steel hitch lock engineered to secure 2" A-frame trailers and select 50×50 or 50×60 couplers against unauthorized towing.

Protecting a trailer from theft starts at the coupler. This Rhino USA lock kit is built in the USA by a family-operated company, offering a tamper-resistant steel construction and rust-resistant finish to stand up to road salt, rain, and long-term storage. It fits common 2" trailer couplers (plus select 50×50 and 50×60 styles) and comes with a lifetime replacement policy for added ownership confidence.

How does this lock stop thieves from towing my trailer?

The lock encloses the coupler latch and prevents a trailer from being hitched to a tow ball, removing the basic mechanical ability to tow the trailer away. Its solid-steel body and tamper-resistant locking mechanism increase the time and tools required to bypass it.

• Heavy-duty powder-coated steel construction that resists cutting and prying.
• Design covers the coupler latch and hitch connection point to prevent standard hitching.
• Tamper-resistant lock core reduces vulnerability to picking.
• Fits common 2" A-frame and compatible 50×50/50×60 couplers for broad coverage.

Will this lock withstand weather and long-term outdoor use?

Yes — the unit has a thick powder-coated finish that shields steel surfaces from moisture and corrosion, making it suitable for trailers stored outdoors or launched at boat ramps. Internal components are also built to minimize rust-related failures that can jam locks over time.

• Durable powder-coat resists chips, rust, and corrosion from road salt and moisture.
• Sealed locking components reduce water intrusion and freeze-related sticking.
• Low-maintenance surface that wipes clean and rarely needs refinishing.

Which trailer couplers are compatible and which are not?

The Rhino USA coupler lock fits standard 2" A-frame couplers and select 50×50 or 50×60 coupler models. It does not fit adjustable couplers, Bulldog-style fittings, pintle/ring setups, 50mm couplers, or the smaller 1-7/8" couplers.

• Compatible: 2" A-frame couplers, selected 50×50 and 50×60 couplers.
• Not compatible: adjustable couplers, Bulldog, lock trailer styles, 50mm, ring/pintle, 1-7/8" couplers.
• Check your coupler model and measurements before purchase for best fit.

What support and warranty come with the lock kit?

Rhino USA provides USA-based customer support from a family-operated business and backs the lock with a lifetime replacement policy. If the product fails or you encounter fitment or manufacturing issues, Rhino USA will replace or refund the item to ensure satisfaction.

• American-owned family business with direct customer service.
