RH Adhesives HH-66 Vinyl Cement 8 oz — Waterproof PVC & Vinyl Glue, Fast-Setting Flexible Bond

Engineered by RH Adhesives, this 8 oz vinyl cement delivers an industrial-strength repair solution that dries quickly and stays flexible across a wide temperature range. The formula penetrates vinyl and PVC substrates to form a durable seam that resists oil, grease and many common chemicals. With a fast 2–5 minute tack time and an 18-month shelf life, HH-66 is built for both field repairs and production work on tarps, pool liners, inflatables and a wide array of flexible materials.

How fast does HH-66 set, and what working conditions does it require?

HH-66 becomes tacky within minutes and develops a serviceable bond quickly, allowing most repairs to proceed without long clamping times. It performs best between 35 °F and 95 °F (2 °C to 35 °C) and can even be used in damp or underwater conditions for select applications.

• Typical cure time: 2–5 minutes for initial tack;
• Application temperature range: 35 °F–95 °F (2 °C–35 °C);
• Service temperature after cure: -30 °F to 150 °F (-34 °C to 66 °C);
• Suitable for some underwater or damp repairs when applied correctly.

What materials will this vinyl cement bond reliably?

HH-66 is formulated to penetrate and weld vinyl and PVC fibers, forming a resilient contact bond. It works on a broad selection of flexible and semi-rigid substrates used in marine, industrial and outdoor gear applications.

• PVC vinyl, vinyl-coated fabrics, and pool liners;
• Inflatables, tarpaulins, awnings, banners and roofing membranes;
• Neoprene, EVA and nitrile foams, canvas, leather, and some rigid plastics;
• Useful for patching, seam repairs, applying patches and attaching trim or moldings.

How does the HH-66 application work — is it easy to use?

HH-66 comes with a brush-cap for controlled, even spreading so you can wet both mating surfaces rapidly and consistently. The cement’s flow and penetration make it practical for both precise touch-ups and larger seam work without specialized tooling.

• Brush-cap allows smooth, uniform application across seams and patches;
• Penetrating formula creates a strong, flexible joint rather than a brittle surface film;
• Designed for professional use but accessible to experienced DIYers for maintenance and repair;
• Keep away from flames and follow ventilation and safety guidance due to solvent content.

What safety and storage information should I know?

HH-66 contains powerful solvents and should be used in well-ventilated areas with appropriate protective gear. Store the product capped in a cool, dry place; unopened shelf life is about 18 months.

• Key solvents: methyl ethyl ketone, acetone, toluene (handle per label precautions);
• Use in ventilated spaces and avoid open flames or sparks during application;
• Store between recommended temperatures and discard if container is compromised after 18 months;
• Follow local regulations for disposal of solvent-based adhesives and containers.
