RESCUE! Disposable Yellowjacket Trap — Central & Eastern Formula, 6-Pack, Ready-to-Use Seasonal Lure

RESCUE! Disposable Summer Yellowjacket Trap is a ready-to-use, single-season lure-and-contain solution formulated to attract and trap yellowjackets in Central and Eastern U.S. regions.

This six-pack of disposable traps uses a powdered attractant that activates with water to draw in the yellowjacket species common to Central and Eastern time-zone states. Designed for warm, dry months, each trap is simple to hang, requires no rebaiting, and is meant to be thrown away once full. All components are manufactured in the USA and the product specifically targets yellowjackets—not wasps or hornets—so make sure the formula matches your regional needs before ordering.

How do I set up a RESCUE! disposable yellowjacket trap?

Setup takes only a minute: add water to the attractant chamber, shake gently to dissolve the powder, and hang the trap outdoors where you see yellowjacket activity. The trap’s design funnels insects in and prevents escape so you won’t need to check or rebait it during its effective period.

• Add water to the powder chamber to activate the lure.
• Hang the trap 6–10 feet from gathering spots or food sources.
• No rebaiting required; the attractant lasts for weeks.
• Discard the entire trap in household trash once full.

When and where is this trap most effective?

The trap performs best in summer when temperatures are warm and humidity is lower; it targets species common to Central and Eastern United States. Place traps near outdoor eating areas, garbage cans, or shaded perimeters of your yard to intercept foraging yellowjackets before they reach people or food.

• Optimal months: late spring through early fall in warm, dry weather.
• Best positioned near activity: patios, picnic areas, trash zones.
• Not intended for indoor use or for wasps and hornets.
• Check regional map to confirm Central & Eastern formulation is correct for you.

What maintenance and disposal steps should I follow?

Maintenance is minimal: once the attractant is activated there’s no need to rebait. Monitor the trap visually; when the trap becomes crowded or nearly full, seal and place it in regular trash for disposal. Because the product is disposable, there’s no cleaning required.

• No rebaiting—one activation lasts multiple weeks.
• Replace traps each season or when filled.
• Dispose of used traps in household garbage; follow local waste rules.
• Keep out of reach of children and pets while hanging and when disposing.

Which yellowjacket species does the Central & Eastern formula attract?

This formula is tailored to lure the yellowjacket species most commonly found across Central and Eastern time-zone states. It concentrates on the foraging behaviors and feeding preferences typical to those regional species to increase catch efficiency during peak months.

• Formulated for Central & Eastern U.S. yellowjacket species.
• Not effective for hornets or paper wasps; choose species-specific solutions for those pests.
• Refer to the brand map to confirm correct regional selection before use.
• Made in the USA to RESCUE! quality standards.

Who is this for: This six-pack is ideal for homeowners, campers, and outdoor-event hosts in Central and Eastern U.S. regions who need a low-effort, seasonal control for yellowjackets around yards, trash areas, and eating spaces. It suits anyone wanting a grab-and-go option that requires minimal handling, no chemical sprays, and quick seasonal replacement. If you need multi-season or multi-pest coverage, consider complementary RESCUE! products designed for other species or longer-term programs.
