Redken Brews molding paste for men — High Hold, matte finish, flexible control (2.6 oz)

Redken Brews Work Hard Molding Paste is a firm-yet-moldable styling paste that delivers maximum control with a natural, matte finish.

Designed for men who need strong hold without stiffness, this sulfate- and talc-free paste sculpts texture and locks styles in place while remaining flexible. Polystretch Fibers help maintain definition throughout the day, and the non-crunchy formula works on damp or dry hair to create everything from lived-in texture to structured looks.

How does this paste give strong hold without feeling stiff?

The formula uses Polystretch Fibers to bind hair fibers together so styles stay put, yet those same polymers allow movement so hair doesn’t feel frozen. You get a controlled look that still responds to touch and reshaping during the day.

• Polystretch Fibers add durable hold while permitting flexibility.
• Firm texture for structure without a hard, crunchy finish.
• Matte, low-shine result hides product buildup visually.

Will it work on my hair type and how do I apply it?

Work Hard Molding Paste is formulated for all men's hair types — from fine to thick — and performs on both short and medium-length styles. It blends easily through damp hair for a defined, controlled base or into dry hair to add texture and finish.

• Apply a small amount to palms, warm between hands, and work through hair.
• Use on damp hair for more control or on dry hair for texture and separation.
• Layer incrementally to increase hold without over-applying product.

What kind of finish and longevity should I expect?

The paste produces a natural matte finish with low shine, ideal for understated, classic looks or messy, textured styles. It’s designed for long-lasting control without flaking, so your style remains consistent throughout a typical day.

• Matte finish keeps hair looking natural, not greasy.
• Long-wear hold resists collapse and maintains texture.
• No visible flakes or stiff residue when used as directed.

Any grooming chemistry or ingredient notes I should know?

This product is free of sulfates and talc, focusing on styling performance rather than heavy fillers. The formulation balances hold and pliability so that shaping and restyling are possible without buildup or excessive weight.

• Sulfate-free and talc-free styling paste for cleaner formulation preferences.
• Lightweight feel despite strong holding properties.
• Suitable for daily use when incorporated into a regular grooming routine.
