Razor A Model Kick Scooter — Clear/Black, Lightweight Foldable Kids Scooter with Adjustable Handlebars

The Razor A Model Kick Scooter is the original lightweight, foldable manual scooter designed for kids and families seeking a durable, easy-to-carry ride with classic style.

The iconic Razor A Model, introduced in 2000, remains a popular choice for young riders and parents because it blends simple mechanics with reliable materials. Constructed with an aluminum deck, an original folding mechanism, urethane wheels and an adjustable handlebar, this scooter arrives ready to ride right out of the box. Its timeless silhouette and clear/black finish offer a clean look that works for everyday trips, playground sessions, and short commutes.

What makes the Razor A Model durable enough for kids?

This scooter uses aircraft-grade aluminum for the deck and frame, providing a balance of low weight and long-lasting strength. The materials resist corrosion and handle regular use, while the rear-fender brake gives riders a simple, proven stopping method.

• Aluminum construction for strength without heavy weight
• Urethane wheels for smooth rolling and wear resistance
• Rear fender brake for intuitive stopping control
• Sturdy folding hinge tested for repeated opening and closing

How does the folding mechanism help at home and on the go?

The original Razor folding system lets you collapse the scooter in seconds for compact transport and storage. That makes it easy to carry into school halls, stow in car trunks, or tuck into small closets between rides.

• Quick-release fold for fast setup and breakdown
• Compact folded footprint saves space in tight areas
• Lightweight frame keeps carrying comfortable for adults and older kids

Is the Razor A Model adjustable for different rider heights?

Yes — the handlebar height can be adjusted to fit growing children and varying comfort preferences. The adjustable clamp locks the handlebar securely so it stays in place during use.

• Easy-adjust handlebars accommodate several height settings
• Secure locking clamp prevents unwanted movement
• Suitable for riders recommended at 5 years and older

Which surfaces and activities is this scooter best suited for?

The Razor A Model performs well on smooth sidewalks, paved paths and schoolyards. Its urethane wheels provide a comfortable roll and good grip on hard, even surfaces; avoid rough off-road terrain to protect the deck and wheels.

• Ideal for smooth pavement, sidewalks and plazas
• Great for short commutes, backyard play and park cruising
• Not intended for aggressive tricks on rough terrain

Who is this for: The Razor A Model Clear/Black is aimed at kids age 5 and up, parents seeking a dependable, easy-to-store ride, and families who want a low-maintenance, stylish scooter for everyday use. Its heritage design and practical features suit first-time riders and those replacing an outgrown scooter, delivering a familiar ride experience that’s straightforward to use and transport.
