Razer Basilisk V3 Ergonomic Wired Gaming Mouse — Black, 11 Programmable Buttons & RGB

The Razer Basilisk V3 is an ergonomic wired gaming mouse with extensive programmability, a dual-mode scroll wheel, and full Razer Chroma RGB to personalize performance and visuals.

Built for players who want comfort, customization, and precise control, the Basilisk V3 blends a hand-friendly silhouette with advanced internals. It adds a high-resolution optical sensor, fast optical switches, and an adaptable hyperscroll wheel—paired with Razer Synapse integration—to let you tailor buttons, lighting, and sensitivity for different games and workflows.

How does the Basilisk V3 improve comfort during long sessions?

The Basilisk V3 uses a sculpted ergonomic shape with a dedicated thumb rest to reduce strain and keep your grip stable. Button placement follows that curvature so common actions are reachable without awkward finger stretches, helping you stay accurate when matches run long.

• Sculpted right-handed form with integrated thumb rest for natural hand positioning
• Textured side grips for secure, sweat-resistant handling
• Buttons and wheel aligned to minimize finger travel and fatigue

What customization can I do with the buttons and RGB?

This mouse offers broad on-device programmability plus Synapse software control for deeper customization. You can map macros, secondary commands, and system shortcuts across the 11 programmable buttons while the 11 RGB zones deliver layered lighting that reacts to in-game events.

• 11 programmable buttons for macros, push-to-talk, and utility binds
• 11 independent Chroma RGB zones with 16.8 million colors and reactive effects
• Save profiles locally or sync via Razer Synapse for game-specific setups

How precise and responsive is the sensor and switches?

The Basilisk V3 pairs a top-tier optical sensor with Gen 2 optical switches to prioritize speed and accuracy. The sensor delivers very high DPI tracking with no smoothing for pixel-level control, while optical switches provide near-instant actuation and resist accidental clicks.

• High-resolution optical sensor offering up to 26,000 DPI for fine tracking
• Optical mouse switches Gen 2 with 0.2 ms actuation and long-life durability
• Zero smoothing and consistent sensor behavior across surfaces

How does the hyperscroll wheel help in gameplay and productivity?

The dual-mode hyperscroll wheel switches between free-spin for rapid scrolling and tactile mode for accurate incremental steps. That flexibility is useful for cycling through abilities and inventory in games or for jumping through long documents and timelines while working.

• Dual-mode tilt wheel: free-spin for fast scrolling, tactile for precision
• Tilt function for side-to-side inputs and quick weapon/ability changes
• Customizable behavior via Synapse to suit different applications or titles

Who is this for? The Razer Basilisk V3 is designed for right-handed gamers and power users who want an ergonomic mouse with a high degree of control and personalization. It fits players who value a comfortable grip, need multiple programmable inputs, and want dynamic RGB that integrates with games and apps—plus anyone who wants a responsive sensor and durable, fast switches for competitive play.
