Rayovac Size 312 Hearing Aid Batteries — 80 Pack, Extra Advanced Zinc‑Air, Child‑Resistant

Rayovac Size 312 Extra Advanced Mercury Free batteries are zinc-air cells designed to supply consistent power for hearing aids, packaged in new certified child-resistant blister packs for safer storage.

These Rayovac 312 batteries are formulated to deliver steady energy output through the life of the cell, with a focus on sustaining power during high-use activities like phone calls, streaming audio and video. The pack contains 80 size 312 zinc-air cells and comes in Rayovac’s newly certified child-resistant packaging that remains manageable for seniors and regular users when opened with simple scissors.

How do these batteries maintain reliable performance throughout their life?

Rayovac’s Extra Advanced formulation optimizes the internal chemistry to reduce voltage drop over time, helping hearing aids sustain clearer sound for longer stretches of use. The zinc-air design activates on exposure to air, giving high initial voltage and steady output across typical listening patterns.

• Extra Advanced chemistry for more consistent voltage.
• Zinc-air activation for strong initial power.
• Suitable for demanding tasks like streaming and long phone calls.
• Pack of 80 cells to reduce frequent repurchasing.

What does the certified child-resistant packaging mean for daily use?

The packaging meets new certification standards for child resistance while remaining considerate of older users’ needs. Rayovac recommends sitting at a table and using scissors to cut the pack open, after which batteries can be accessed one by one, reducing accidental access and keeping spares secure.

• Certified child-resistant outer blister for safer storage.
• Designed with senior-considerate access—openable with scissors.
• One-by-one access preserves remaining cells and prevents waste.
• Clear labeling reduces confusion when replacing batteries.

Which hearing devices are compatible with Size 312 batteries and when should I choose them?

Size 312 cells are a standard zinc-air battery widely used in many behind-the-ear and in-the-ear hearing aid models. Choose size 312 when your device specifies it—these batteries are especially useful if you regularly stream audio, talk on the phone, or use multiple features that increase power demand.

• Common fit for a broad range of hearing aid models requiring 312 size.
• Recommended for users with moderate to high daily device use.
• Good option when you need a large supply—80 batteries included.
• Zinc-air chemistry keeps performance suited to digital hearing aids.

How should I store and handle these batteries to maximize life and safety?

Keep batteries in the original sealed pack until needed; they remain inactive until air exposure. Store in a cool, dry place away from children and pets, and discard used cells according to local regulations. When opening, follow the scissors method to make the pack easy to access while maintaining safety.

• Store sealed blister packs in cool, dry conditions.
• Do not insert batteries until the tab is removed and the cell is exposed to air.
• Use scissors to open packaging, then remove batteries individually.
• Recycle or dispose of used batteries following local guidelines.
