Rawlings youth practice baseballs — 12-count bag, official size & raised seams for training

Rawlings Official League Recreational Use Baseballs are a 12-count set of youth-sized practice baseballs with a solid cork-and-rubber core, synthetic leather cover, and reusable mesh carrying bag.

These baseballs are built for everyday practice and casual play for younger players. Each ball matches official size and weight while using a solid cork and rubber center and a synthetic leather cover with raised seams to help hands and gloves find purchase. The twelve balls arrive in a handy mesh bag so coaches, parents, and teams can carry, store, and dry them with ease.

How do these baseballs stand up to regular batting practice?

They’re designed for repeated use during drills and informal games. The cork-and-rubber core keeps consistent flight and feel ball-to-ball, while the synthetic leather withstands routine wear without breaking the budget.

• Solid cork and rubber center for steady performance
• Synthetic leather cover resists scuffs and lasts through practices
• Raised seams replicate a game-like grip for hitters and pitchers
• Pack of 12 reduces time spent retrieving balls between reps

Are these appropriate for youth players and age limits?

Yes—these balls are intended for recreational play and are especially suited for younger athletes. The size and weight mirror official specifications, and the construction is targeted at children aged 8 and under for safe, reliable use in practices and backyard games.

• Gentler cover and center than higher-performance game balls
• Designed to be the go-to for leagues, coaches, and families

What makes these easier to carry, store, and manage on the field?

The set includes a reusable mesh bag that keeps twelve baseballs together, visible, and ventilated. The bag makes transport simple and allows wet or dirty balls to air out between sessions.

• Lightweight mesh bag with drawcord for quick closure
• See-through material lets you count and inspect balls at a glance
• Bag design helps dry damp balls after outdoor use
• Compact footprint fits easily in equipment closets or car trunks

Will these baseballs work with standard youth gloves and bats?

• Raised seams improve grip for young fielders and pitchers
• Official dimensions fit standard youth equipment and machines
