Raw Paws Virgin Organic Coconut Oil for Dogs & Cats, 16 oz — Cold-Pressed, Skin & Coat Moisturizer

Raw Paws Virgin Organic Coconut Oil is a single-ingredient, cold-pressed coconut oil formulated for topical and dietary use on dogs and cats to help moisturize skin and support a glossy coat.

Made from unrefined, organic coconuts, this 16-ounce jar of coconut oil is versatile for pet owners who want a natural option to soothe dry noses, cracked paw pads, irritated skin folds, and to add healthy fats to your pet’s diet. It’s free of chemicals and bleaching, so you get pure MCT-rich oil suitable for topical application or small dietary additions for dogs and cats.

How should I use this coconut oil on my pet’s dry skin or paws?

Apply a thin layer directly to the affected area and gently massage until absorbed. For persistent or larger areas, apply 1–2 times daily until skin looks hydrated. If using on paws, rub into pads and between toes after walks or bathing to lock in moisture.

• Use topically on nose, elbows, ears, paws, and skin folds.
• Apply 1–2 times per day for targeted relief.
• Warm in hands if solid before application.
• Reapply after bathing or exposure to harsh weather.

Can I add Raw Paws coconut oil to my pet’s food and how much?

Yes — a small dietary addition can introduce medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs) and healthy fats to meals. Start with a conservative amount and monitor tolerance: use about 1/4 teaspoon for small cats or toy dogs, 1/2 teaspoon for small-to-medium breeds, and up to 1 teaspoon for larger dogs, adjusting slowly.

• Begin with low doses and increase gradually over 1–2 weeks.
• Mix into wet food or onto kibble for easy ingestion.
• Observe stool consistency and appetite after introduction.
• Consult your veterinarian for pets with pancreatitis or weight concerns.

Will this coconut oil help with grooming and coat condition?

Applied topically or added to the diet, coconut oil can help soften fur, reduce flakiness, and bring a healthy-looking sheen to coats. It also serves as a gentle alternative to chemical-laden grooming products when used modestly and rinsed out during baths if needed.

• Massage into coat for quick conditioning and detangling.
• Use as a spot-treatment for dry or rough patches.
• Add small dietary amounts to support skin and coat nutrition.
• Rinse lightly if an oily residue is left after topical use.

How should I store and handle Raw Paws organic coconut oil?

Store the jar at room temperature away from direct sunlight. Coconut oil solidifies below about 76°F (24°C) and liquefies above that; both states are normal and do not affect quality. Use clean utensils to scoop out oil to avoid contamination.

• Keep sealed in a cool, dry place; avoid high heat.
• Warm a scoop briefly between hands for easier spreading.
• Discard if unusual odor or discoloration occurs.
• Always close the lid after each use to preserve freshness.

Who is this for? Pet owners looking for a simple, multi-use natural option for dogs and cats who need extra skin hydration, coat conditioning, or a small dietary fat supplement. It’s ideal for people who prefer single-ingredient, organic products and want a versatile jar that can be used as a topical balm, grooming aid, or occasional food additive. If your pet has a serious or persistent condition, pair topical care with veterinary guidance for the best outcome.
