RAINPOINT Water Flow Meter with Brass Fittings — 180° Flip LCD, Waterproof Gallon/Liter Readings

RAINPOINT's water flow meter is a rugged, brass-bodied inline meter with a 180° flip LCD that accurately tracks gallons or liters for RV filling, garden watering, sprinklers and hose nozzles.

Whether you're topping off an RV tank, monitoring landscape irrigation, or checking how much water a sprinkler uses, this compact flow meter brings durable construction and flexible installation to outdoor plumbing. Its metal-threaded brass inlet and outlet resist corrosion and wear, while the waterproof screen and double-seal design help protect electronics in wet environments. The meter records flow rate, includes two separate total counters for different tracking periods, and shows readings in either gallons or liters.

How durable is this meter for outdoor use?

Designed for extended outdoor service, the meter uses solid brass fittings and metal threads that tolerate repeated connections without stripping. Seals and a rubber gasket at the screen and battery cover reduce water intrusion, and the flip-screen avoids rotating parts that might let in moisture.

• Pure brass inlet and outlet for corrosion resistance and long life.
• Metal threading for reliable hose and faucet connections.
• Waterproof rubber rings on screen and battery cover for protection.
• One-touch flip screen prevents unnecessary twisting that can introduce leaks.

Can I install it any way, and where does it fit?

The compact form factor supports installation in any orientation, so you don’t have to align a specific flow direction during mounting. It’s sized for standard garden quick-connects and outdoor faucets, making it suitable for RV fill lines, watering systems, backyard pools, patios and sprinklers.

• All-direction installation — no direction-specific mounting required for placement.
• Quick-connect compatible with most garden hoses and faucet fittings.
• Small footprint fits tight outdoor plumbing runs and RV fill points.
• Works with sprinklers, hose nozzles, and irrigation systems.

What measurements and tracking features are available?

The meter displays instantaneous flow rate and supports two independent total counters so you can track separate periods or tasks. Readings can be toggled between gallons and liters, and the flip display keeps data readable from different angles.

• Flow rate screen plus LAST mode for recent usage checks.
• TOTAL 1 and TOTAL 2 let you record separate totals (e.g., today vs month).
• Switchable units: gallons or liters depending on your preference.
• 180° flip button for clear viewing without repositioning the device.

How do I ensure accurate readings?

Accuracy relies on correct flow direction matching the meter’s A-B setting and secure leak-free connections. Before long-term use, confirm the flow arrow aligns with water movement and tighten fittings to prevent bypass or air pockets that could distort counts.

• Verify the A-B flow direction on the meter’s flow rate page before use.
• Hand-tighten metal-thread connections; use suitable washers if needed.
• Check seals and battery cover for intact rubber rings to maintain waterproofing.
• Flush the line to remove debris that might affect the internal rotor.

Who this is for: The RAINPOINT Water Flow Meter suits homeowners, RV owners, landscapers and anyone who needs reliable, portable measurement of outdoor water use. If you want a corrosion-resistant meter with readable, flip-friendly electronics and dual totals for tracking different usage windows, this device offers a durable, easy-to-install solution for routine irrigation, vehicle fills, and sprinkler assessments.
