Raindrip 1/2-inch (0.520" ID) poly distribution tubing, sold in a 100 ft coil, supplies water to emitters and feeder lines for drip irrigation systems.
This 1/2-inch supply tubing is intended to route water from a main line or emitter to planting zones, making it easy to build, extend, or repair a drip system for gardens, beds, containers, and landscapes. Constructed with an outer and inner layer of 100% virgin material and a recycled-content core, the hose balances durability, flexibility, and cost-effectiveness. Embedded UV inhibitors help resist sun damage and keep the tubing flexible in cooler weather so you can shape and position lines around plants without kinking.
You can use the 1/2-inch tubing as a primary supply line or as a feeder that branches off larger pipes. It accepts standard micro fittings and can be punched directly to accept barbed emitters or adapters for 1/4" micro tubing.
The Raindrip tube has an outside diameter of about 0.620 inches and an internal diameter of 0.520 inches, supplied in a single 100-foot coil. Its layered construction uses virgin polymer for the inner and outer skins for better strength and a recycled-content middle layer for environmental efficiency.
This size is versatile for many residential and light commercial irrigation tasks. Use it to water shrub lines, vegetable rows, foundation plantings, hanging baskets (via feeders), and individual container groups where a low-flow, controlled delivery is desired.
Who this is for: Home gardeners, landscapers, and property managers who need a reliable, flexible supply line to run emitters or branch off larger tubing will find this Raindrip product practical and economical. It’s made for people building or maintaining drip systems who want tubing that resists UV exposure, remains workable in varied temperatures, and integrates with standard micro-irrigation fittings. If you need a straightforward way to route water across beds, containers, or planting zones at steady low flow, this 1/2" by 100 ft tubing is a durable component to include in your system.
Q: Can I punch emitters directly into this 1/2" tubing?
A: Yes. This tubing accepts punched emitters and micro fittings for direct emitter installs and branch connections.
Q: Will the tubing hold up in sun and cold weather?
A: The tubing includes UV inhibitors for sun exposure and stays flexible in cooler temperatures for reliable use.
