Rain-X 850212 RearView 12" rear wiper blade is an OEM-style replacement that installs in seconds and restores clear, streak-free rear visibility in all weather.

When rear visibility matters—whether backing up in heavy rain, clearing road salt in winter, or wiping away summer grime—the Rain-X RearView rear wiper blade is designed to bring your rear windshield back to factory-level performance. This 12-inch composite blade uses a natural rubber squeegee and an interchangeable adapter to match common rear-arm types and make replacement quick, secure, and dependable.

How do I install the Rain-X RearView blade quickly?

Installation is made to be fast and tool-free: the blade comes with an interchangeable adapter that fits several rear-arm styles so you can swap it in seconds. Follow the simple clip-and-lock steps and verify the arm engages snugly for smooth wiping motion.

• Includes adaptable adapter for RL2, RL3, RL4 and snapclaw arm types
• No tools required — clip the adapter into place and attach to the arm
• Designed for a tight, OE-style connection to prevent play or skipping

What makes this blade durable through seasons?

The squeegee is molded from natural rubber formulated to resist cracking, tearing, and UV degradation so it holds up to temperature swings, washer fluids, and road salt. The composite frame delivers steady pressure across the blade for consistent contact and streak-free wiping.

• Natural rubber resists heat, cold, and chemical exposure
• Composite construction maintains even blade pressure
• Engineered to match or exceed original equipment standards

Will this fit my vehicle’s rear wiper arm and restore rear visibility?

Rain-X RearView 12" is built as an OEM replacement to fit most common rear-arm styles using the supplied interchangeable adapter. Once installed, it restores clear sightlines so reversing, parking, and lane changes behind you become safer and less stressful.

• 12-inch length suitable for many rear windshields
• Adapter compatibility with common rear arm types for broad fitment
• Optimized to reduce streaking for improved rearward clarity

How often should I replace the rear wiper blade?

Replace the rear blade when you notice streaking, skipping, or reduced wiping performance—typically every 6–12 months depending on climate and use. Inspect the rubber for cracks, fraying, or hardening after harsh winters or intense sun exposure and swap it promptly to keep rear visibility reliable.

• Inspect monthly in extreme weather conditions
• Replace at first signs of streaking or physical wear
• Seasonal replacement is recommended for heavy-use climates

Who is this for? If you drive a vehicle with a 12-inch rear wiper arm or one of the compatible arm types (RL2, RL3, RL4, snapclaw) and want a fast, reliable OEM-style replacement, this Rain-X RearView blade is an easy upgrade. It’s aimed at drivers who value quick installation, long-lasting rubber performance across seasons, and a secure factory-like fit to maintain rearward visibility and confidence while reversing or changing lanes. Ideal for everyday commuters, families, and anyone living in regions with rain, snow, or road-salt exposure who won’t compromise on rear sightlines.
