Purina Pro Plan Sensitive Skin & Stomach Dog Food — Lamb & Oatmeal, 16 lb, Probiotics & Gentle Digestion

Purina Pro Plan Sensitive Skin and Sensitive Stomach Lamb and Oat Meal Formula is a dry adult dog food formulated to be gentle on digestion while supporting skin and coat health.

This 16 lb bag combines real lamb, easily digestible oat meal, targeted nutrients and live probiotics to help dogs with food sensitivities maintain steady nutrition. The recipe avoids corn, wheat, soy and poultry by-product meal and focuses on ingredients chosen for digestibility, balanced protein and fatty acids to help skin, coat and mobility support as part of an everyday feeding plan.

Why pick a lamb and oat meal formula for a dog with sensitivities?

Lamb as the first ingredient supplies a single, high-quality animal protein source that many dogs tolerate well. Oat meal provides soluble fiber and a gentle carbohydrate that’s often easier on the gut than corn or wheat.

• Real lamb listed first for concentrated protein.
• Oat meal for mild, slow-digesting energy and fiber.
• Formulated without common irritants: corn, wheat, soy, poultry by-products.

How does this formula support digestion and immune balance?

The recipe includes guaranteed live probiotics plus a blend of digestible ingredients to help steady stool quality and nutrient absorption. Probiotics can be especially useful during dietary transitions or for dogs prone to occasional tummy upset.

• Guaranteed live probiotics added for digestive support.
• Oat meal and selected carbohydrates that are easier to break down.
• High protein content to maintain lean muscle while supporting metabolism.

Will it help my dog’s skin and coat appearance?

Key fatty acids and minerals in the formula target skin and coat condition without making medical claims. Sunflower oil provides omega-6 fatty acids and zinc supports skin health and a shiny coat when included in a balanced diet.

• Sunflower oil supplies omega-6 fatty acids for skin and coat maintenance.
• Zinc included to support normal skin function.
• Balanced protein and fat levels help overall coat condition over time.

How should I transition my dog to this food and what serving info matters?

Switch gradually over 7–10 days, mixing increasing portions of the new food with the old each day. Monitor portion sizes based on your dog’s weight, activity level and body condition to avoid over- or under-feeding.

• Suggested transition: start with 25% new food and increase to 100% over a week or more.
• Adjust daily portions by body condition and consult your veterinarian for special needs.
• Fresh water and regular feeding times help digestion and routine.
