Purina Pro Plan Senior Wet Cat Food Pate, Salmon & Tuna (24 x 3 oz) — High Protein, 11+

Purina Pro Plan Senior Salmon & Tuna wet pate is a high-protein, complete canned diet formulated to meet the nutritional needs of cats aged 11 and older.

As cats age, their dietary needs change — energy levels, digestion, and body condition all benefit from a targeted formula. This Purina Pro Plan Senior 11+ Salmon and Tuna Entree comes as a smooth pate made with real salmon and tuna, supplying concentrated protein, essential vitamins and minerals, and added taurine in each 3 oz can. The recipe avoids artificial colors and preservatives while including antioxidants and a nutrient profile designed to support an older cat's day-to-day wellness.

What nutrients does this senior pate provide and why do they matter?

Each can delivers a blend of high-quality protein, 25 essential vitamins and minerals, taurine, and antioxidants. These components are chosen to help maintain muscle mass, support immune response, and promote overall vitality in cats over 11 years old.

• High protein to support lean body condition and energy
• Taurine to support heart and eye function
• Antioxidants to help support a balanced immune system
• 25 essential vitamins and minerals for daily nutritional needs

How does the salmon & tuna pate fit into a feeding routine for older cats?

The smooth pate texture is gentle on older cats’ mouths and easy to portion for multiple small meals. Use it as a primary wet food, a topper for dry kibble, or a tempting meal replacement to encourage appetite in finicky seniors.

• Serve straight from the can at room temperature for best smell and flavor
• Mix with dry food to add moisture and palatability
• Feed according to your cat’s weight, age, and activity level — adjust portions as needed
• Refrigerate unused portions and use within recommended timeframes

Are there ingredients or additives I should be aware of?

The recipe centers on real salmon and tuna and avoids artificial colors and preservatives. Ingredients are selected to be highly digestible for senior cats, but always check the full label for any specific ingredient sensitivities or allergies your cat may have.

• Real salmon and tuna listed early in the ingredient panel
• No artificial colors or artificial preservatives used
• Formulated with digestible proteins to support nutrient absorption
• Contains added vitamins, minerals, and taurine for balanced nutrition

How should I transition my cat to Purina Pro Plan Senior pate?

Introduce the new pate gradually over 7–10 days to avoid digestive upset and to let your cat adjust to flavor and texture. Mix increasing amounts of the new food with the old food until you’re feeding only the Purina Pro Plan Senior pate.

• Start with 25% new food, 75% old food for 2–3 days
• Increase to a 50/50 mix for another 2–3 days
• Move to 75% new food then fully switch after 7–10 days
• Monitor appetite, stool quality, and energy during transition

Who is this product for? Purina Pro Plan Senior 11+ Salmon & Tuna Entree is formulated for aging domestic cats that need higher-protein, highly digestible wet nutrition with essential vitamins and taurine.
