Purina Pro Plan Lamb & Rice Puppy Dry Food, 18 lb — High Protein, DHA for Brain & Digestion

This lamb-first recipe combines real lamb and rice with targeted nutrients—like DHA from fish oil, calcium and phosphorus, antioxidants, omega-6 fatty acids, and live probiotics—to help fuel energy, support lean muscle, and assist developing brains, immune systems, skin and coat. The formula avoids artificial colors and flavors and uses ingredients chosen for specific nutritional functions, making it a practical daily diet for growing dogs.

How does this food support a puppy's brain and vision?

The formula includes DHA from omega-rich fish oil, an important fatty acid associated with neural and retinal development in young animals. Regular feeding supplies these nutrients consistently during the rapid early months when brain and eye systems develop most quickly.

• Contains DHA sourced from fish oil for neurological and visual support
• Balanced fats to promote healthy neural tissue
• Appropriate nutrient ratios for puppies under one year

Will this kibble help my puppy build strong bones and muscles?

Yes—this recipe delivers high-quality protein with real lamb as the first ingredient to support lean muscle growth, plus calcium, phosphorus and other minerals to support skeletal development. The calorie and nutrient profile is formulated to match the needs of growing puppies.

• High-protein formulation for muscle maintenance and growth
• Calcium and phosphorus included for bone and tooth development
• Nutrient balance built for puppies’ growth stages

How does this food aid digestion and immune development?

The recipe is designed to be highly digestible and features live probiotics to support gut health and nutrient absorption, plus antioxidants that assist the immune system during growth. Easier digestion helps puppies make the most of the calories and nutrients in each serving.

• Live probiotics to support digestive balance and immunity
• Highly digestible ingredients to improve nutrient uptake
• Antioxidants to support a developing immune response

What does this food do for skin, coat and mealtime appeal?

The formula supplies vitamin A and omega-6 fatty acids such as linoleic acid to help maintain healthy skin and a glossy coat. Real lamb provides a savory flavor profile many puppies enjoy, which can encourage consistent eating and healthy weight gain during growth.

• Vitamin A and omega-6 fatty acids for skin and coat health
• Real lamb as first ingredient for flavor and quality protein
• No artificial colors or flavors for cleaner ingredient intent
