Pure Encapsulations Digestive Enzymes Ultra with Betaine HCl, 90 Capsules — Broad‑Spectrum Vegetarian Meal Support

Pure Encapsulations Digestive Enzymes Ultra with Betaine HCl is a broad-spectrum vegetarian enzyme formula designed to support normal digestion and nutrient breakdown across a wide pH range.

This concentrated 90-capsule supplement combines multiple plant-based digestive enzymes with betaine HCl to help the body break down proteins, carbohydrates, fibers, and dairy components more effectively. It is formulated by Pure Encapsulations without common allergens, artificial additives, or GMOs, and aims to support everyday digestive processes and nutrient availability when taken as part of a balanced diet.

How does this enzyme blend help during meals?

The formula supplies a mix of enzymes targeted at different macronutrients so digestive activity can occur throughout the digestive tract. Betaine HCl helps create an acidic environment in the stomach that supports protein breakdown, while other enzymes work on carbohydrates, fibers, and dairy.

• Contains proteases for protein and peptide breakdown.
• Includes amylases and glucoamylase for carbohydrate digestion.
• Offers lactase to aid lactose processing from dairy.
• Provides cellulase and hemicellulase for fiber decomposition.

When should I take these capsules for best effect?

For meal-time support, take the capsules with or just before a meal so enzymes are present when food arrives in the stomach and small intestine. Timing depends on your needs and meal size; follow product directions or consult a healthcare professional for personalized guidance.

• Take with a main meal for broader substrate coverage.
• Smaller meals may require fewer capsules per serving.
• Avoid taking on an empty stomach unless recommended by a clinician.

What foods will this formula help digest?

This blend is designed to assist with a wide variety of common foods — from protein-rich meals to carbohydrate-heavy dishes and dairy products. It supplies enzymes that act on polysaccharides, disaccharides, proteins, and some plant fibers.

• Supports digestion of meats, eggs, and other proteins.
• Aids breakdown of starches, breads, and grains.
• Includes lactase for dairy-containing foods.
• Contains fiber-targeting enzymes for plant-based meals.

Are there notable formulation features or exclusions?

Pure Encapsulations emphasizes a clean formulation: the capsules are free from many common allergens and unnecessary additives. The product is vegetarian-focused and excludes artificial colors, flavors, and GMOs, aligning with users who prefer minimal-ingredient supplements.

• Free from common allergens and artificial ingredients.
• Vegetarian-friendly enzyme sources included.
• Non-GMO and minimal excipient profile.
• Comes in a 90-capsule serving size for multi-week use.
