PUR Plus Vertical Faucet Water Filter System, Chrome — Lead-Reducing, 100-Gallon Filter Life

The PUR Plus Vertical Faucet Mount is a chrome, faucet-attached water filtration system that reduces lead and dozens of other contaminants to improve taste and clarity directly from your kitchen tap.

This compact PUR Plus system snaps onto most external-aerator faucets to deliver filtered water on demand without tools or plumbing changes. It uses PUR’s multi-stage filtration media to target chlorine, microplastics, lead, and many chemical and physical substances commonly found in tap water. An integrated toggle switches between filtered and unfiltered flow, and a built-in filter-change light helps you keep replacement timing simple.

How effective is this filter at removing contaminants?

The PUR Plus Vertical unit is WQA- and NSF-certified to lower lead and to reduce up to 70 chemical and physical substances. While it improves taste and reduces many common impurities, it does not claim to remove microbes. Certifications mean independent labs have verified its performance against specific standards.

• Certified reductions include lead, chlorine, microplastics, and other listed substances.
• Three-stage filtration media targets particles, chemical tastes/odors, and specific metals.
• Not intended for microbiological purification; follow local advisories for biological contaminants.

How long will the PUR Plus faucet filter last before replacement?

Each Genuine PUR Plus replacement filter is rated for up to 100 gallons or approximately three months of typical household use. The system’s replace reminder light illuminates when capacity is nearing its limit, helping you maintain filtering performance without guesswork.

• Rated lifespan: up to 100 gallons or ~3 months depending on use.
• Filter-change light signals when to replace the cartridge.
• Keeping a replacement filter on hand avoids gaps in filtration.

Will this fit my faucet and is installation difficult?

The PUR Plus Vertical attaches to faucets that accept external aerators and requires no tools—simply click the unit onto the faucet and secure it. It is not compatible with pull-out, handheld, or non-standard aerator designs, so verify your faucet type before purchase.

• Works with most standard faucets with external aerators.
• Tool-free installation in minutes; includes faucet mount and filter.
• Not designed for pull-out or specialty faucet models.

What convenience features will I notice day-to-day?

You can switch instantly between filtered and unfiltered water using the built-in lever, making it easy to use for drinking, cooking, or rinsing. The chrome finish blends with many kitchen fixtures, and the compact vertical design keeps counter and sink space uncluttered.

• On/off lever for quick selection of filtered water.
• Compact vertical profile preserves sink space and sightlines.
• Chrome styling coordinates with common kitchen finishes.

Who is this for: The PUR Plus Vertical Faucet Mount is suited for households and renters who want improved tap water taste and reduced lead without changing plumbing.
