Progressive PrepSolutions Microwaveable Bacon Grill — Cooks 7–9 Strips, Vented Cover & Grease-Channeling Tray

The Progressive PrepSolutions Microwaveable Bacon Grill cooks 7–9 strips of bacon quickly while channeling grease away for crisper results and less mess.

The PrepSolutions Microwaveable Bacon Grill from Progressive is a countertop microwave accessory built to speed up breakfast prep and reduce cleanup. Sized to fit microwave turntables with at least a 12.5-inch diameter, the tray and vented cover let grease drain away and contain splatter so you don’t have to scrub your microwave after each use. Constructed to be dishwasher-safe and BPA-free, it’s also handy for cooking sausage, pizza rolls, taquitos and similar small items that benefit from elevated, vented cooking.

How much bacon can it cook at once?

The grill is designed to hold between seven and nine strips of bacon, depending on strip width. Its rectangular tray measures 11.88" x 10.00" x 1.88", allowing multiple pieces to lay flat without crowding, which helps them crisp evenly.

• Fits 7–9 standard bacon strips per batch
• Tray dimensions: 11.88" x 10.00" x 1.88"
• Works best in microwaves with a 12.5" or larger turntable

Will it keep my microwave clean and reduce splatter?

Yes — the included vented cover minimizes grease splatter while allowing steam to escape, which keeps the interior of your microwave cleaner. The recessed handle on the lid makes it easy to remove the cover without touching hot surfaces.

• Vented cover reduces splatter and trapped steam
• Recessed handle simplifies lifting the lid
• Elevated grooves channel grease into the tray base

Does it produce healthier, crisp bacon?

The grooved surface lifts bacon so rendered fat drains away from the strips, resulting in crispier texture with less grease left on the meat. Because excess fat collects in the tray, you can choose to discard it or save it for other cooking uses.

• Grooved tray lets fat drip away from bacon
• Yields crisp results without pan-frying
• Fat collects in the tray for easy disposal

How easy is cleanup and storage?

The entire unit is dishwasher-safe, which makes cleanup simple after each use. The compact rectangular shape stores flat in a cabinet or drawer when not in use, freeing up kitchen space compared with bulky fry pans or baking sheets.

• Dishwasher-safe and BPA-free for convenience
• Compact profile stores flat in cabinets or drawers
• Quick wipe-down recommended after heavy use

It also suits cooks who want a compact tool for making crispy bacon, reheating sandwich toppings, or preparing small snacks without grease splatter or a long cleanup routine.
