Proctor Silex 4-Slice Toaster with Extra-Wide Slots — Bagel-Friendly, 7 Shade Settings

The Proctor Silex 4 Slice Toaster delivers quick, even toasting for thick breads and bagels with extra-wide slots and user-friendly controls.

Engineered and lab-tested for everyday reliability, this four-slice toaster combines roomy slots, a toast-lift, and simple shade controls so households can toast everything from thin slices to thick Texas toast. Designed for 110V outlets, the unit was developed with repeated mechanical and cooking tests to ensure consistent performance in your kitchen.

How does this toaster handle bagels and thick slices?

The toaster features extra-wide slots that accommodate dense or oversized breads without jamming or uneven browning. Its slot width is larger than many standard four-slice models, letting you toast bagel halves and thick-cut loaves without trimming.

• Extra-wide slots fit bagels, Texas toast, and artisan slices.
• Even heating prevents under-toasted centers on thicker pieces.
• Four-slice capacity speeds up breakfast for families.

What controls help me get consistent results?

Use the seven-position shade selector to choose from light to dark toast levels, and press Cancel to stop any cycle immediately. A Toast Boost (lift) feature raises smaller items for safe, easy removal after toasting.

• Seven shade settings for precise browning preferences.
• Cancel button stops toasting mid-cycle when needed.
• Toast Boost lifts English muffins and small pieces for easier retrieval.

How does it make cleanup and storage easier?

A pull-out crumb tray gathers crumbs and debris so you can empty them quickly without moving the whole unit. When not in use, the cord wrap in the base tucks cord neatly away for compact countertop storage.

• Removable crumb tray reduces countertop messes and simplifies cleaning.
• Built-in cord wrap stores excess power cord under the toaster.
• Compact footprint fits comfortably on most kitchen counters.

Is the toaster safe to use around the home?

Safety features include an automatic shutoff that stops the heating cycle if a toast jams or the cycle completes. The mechanical design was subjected to extensive lab and kitchen testing to ensure dependable operation.

• Automatic shutoff prevents overheating and unattended operation.
• Durable mechanical components tested for repeated use.
• Designed for standard 110V household power.
