Prepared Hero Emergency Fire Blanket 39 x 39 in 4-Pack — Reusable Fiberglass, Heat-Resistant up to 1022°F

Prepared Hero Emergency Fire Blanket is a compact, reusable 39 x 39 in fire suppression blanket (4-pack) designed to smother small kitchen and grease fires and act as a heat shield in emergencies.

Keep fast-reacting protection close at hand with this set of four lightweight fire blankets from Prepared Hero. Each blanket is built with woven fiberglass layers and a fire-retardant inner film to isolate flames and reduce radiant heat. The blankets fold small for storage in drawers, cabinets, the glove box, or a backyard grill station so you can reach them quickly when a small fire begins. They meet CE-style safety expectations and tolerate temperatures commonly associated with household flare-ups.

How will this blanket help in a kitchen or grease fire?

The blanket is intended to cut off oxygen to small flames — especially useful for stovetop oil or grease fires where water makes things worse. It can be placed over a pot or pan to smother the fire safely or used to wrap and protect nearby items.

• Smothers flames by blocking oxygen flow
• Resists heat up to around 1022°F (550°C)
• Compact folding makes it quick to deploy
• Reusable after careful inspection and cleaning

What materials and safety standards are used?

Each blanket uses two woven fiberglass layers with an inner fire-retardant film to provide both flame resistance and thermal isolation. The combination keeps the material flexible while helping prevent heat transfer and direct flame contact.

• Woven fiberglass outer layers for tear resistance
• Inner fire-retardant film to block radiant heat
• Manufactured to align with CE-style safety criteria (EN 1896:1997)
• Rated for high-temperature environments common in household fires

How should I store and use the Prepared Hero blanket safely?

Store each folded blanket in an accessible place: near the stove, inside a grill cabinet, or in your car’s glove box. To use, carefully lower the blanket over the fire to seal off oxygen; avoid lifting until fully cooled and ensure the scene is safe before attempting to remove it.

• Keep within arm’s reach of cooking areas and outdoor grills
• Lower blanket slowly to avoid fanning flames
• Allow complete cooling before disposal or inspection
• Replace if fabric shows significant damage after use

Can this blanket be used outside the kitchen?

Yes — its lightweight, portable design makes it suitable for vehicles, camping, backyard grilling, and emergency kits. It also serves as a temporary heat shield for handling hot objects or protecting surfaces during short exposures.

• Compact for car and outdoor survival kits
• Useful as a thermal barrier for hot objects
• Handy for backyard grills, campers, and workbenches
• Four-pack covers multiple locations in a home or vehicle
