Premo Guard Natural Poultry Spray — 16 oz plant-oil formula, kills scaly leg mites, fleas & lice

If you keep backyard chickens, turkeys, ducks or geese, pest control that is both effective and gentle matters. Premo Guard uses a blend of natural essential oils to deliver contact-killing action against mites, lice, fleas and ticks while remaining safe for birds of all ages and for use around homes and families. The formula is developed and third-party tested in GMP facilities and is suitable for direct application to birds and their housing.

How quickly does Premo Guard work on poultry parasites?

The spray is designed to kill on contact, reducing live parasite numbers immediately and helping control all life stages when used as directed. Repeated applications interrupt life cycles, including eggs, larvae and adults, for ongoing control.

• Contact-action formula starts reducing active pests on application
• Works on eggs, larvae and adults when treatments are repeated
• Can be combined with dust baths and coop cleaning for faster results

Is this product safe to use on chicks, laying hens and around my home?

Yes — Premo Guard is formulated from natural essential oils with no harsh chemical insecticides, so there is no required egg withdrawal. It’s gentle enough for chicks, adult birds and other poultry while being safe for use in coops, runs and around family spaces when used as instructed.

• No egg withdrawal period required
• Suitable for chicks, hens, roosters, ducks, turkeys and geese
• Use on birds and housing: roosts, nest boxes, pens and yards

How should I apply Premo Guard for best results?

Apply directly to affected birds by lightly misting feathers and legs, taking care to avoid eyes and nostrils. Treat the entire flock and their environment — including roosts, nest boxes and runs — and repeat as needed to break pest life cycles.

• Mist lightly over feathers and legs; avoid face and eyes
• Treat housing, roosts, nest boxes and dust bath areas
• Repeat applications on a schedule to address eggs and larvae

What kinds of pests does the spray control and where is it effective?

Premo Guard targets a broad range of external poultry pests, including northern fowl mites, scaly leg mites, fleas, lice, ticks and flies. It can be used on birds themselves as well as on coop interiors, bedding areas and outdoor runs for comprehensive pest management.

• Effective against mites (including scaly leg), lice, fleas and ticks
• Useful in coops, nest boxes, pens, roosts and outdoor runs
• Complements physical control methods like cleaning and dust baths
