Power Rangers Pterodactyl Dinozord Toy — Pink Re‑Ignition Combinable Dinozord with Missiles & Micro Figures

The Power Rangers Mighty Morphin Re-Ignition Pterodactyl Dinozord is a flyable, combinable Pink Ranger vehicle that fires missiles and connects to form the Megazord chest plate.

This updated Re-Ignition release from Playmates Toys brings the classic 1993 Pterodactyl Dinozord to today’s collectors and kids, combining screen-inspired details with play-focused features. The figure converts between flight pose and connection-ready mode, includes attachable missile launchers and projectiles, plus Micro Power Ranger figures for imaginative battles or display. It’s engineered to work with the other Combinable Dinozords so you can recreate the full Megazord formation.

How does the Pterodactyl Dinozord fly and battle in play scenarios?

The Pterodactyl is the only Dinozord designed to take a flight stance for aerial action, then transition into a landing mode to mount its missile launchers. Its moveable wings and removable accessories let kids stage dogfights, rescue missions, and strike sequences. Missiles launch for quick, tactile action while the sculpted detail supports realistic pretend play.

• Articulated wings for flight or landing poses
• Attachable missile launchers that lock into place
• Three included missile projectiles for firing sequences
• Space for Micro Power Ranger figures to pilot or stand guard

What parts are included and how do they fit into Megazord formation?

This Pterodactyl set ships with attachable missile launchers, three missile projectiles, and Micro Power Ranger figures. When assembling the Megazord, the Pterodactyl becomes the distinctive chest plate that completes the combined figure’s torso. Connection points are molded to align with other Combinable Dinozords for a straightforward build.

• Pterodactyl main body with molded connectors for combination
• Two attachable missile launchers that double as decorative parts
• Three projectiles for action play and display dynamics
• Micro Power Ranger figures for cockpit or display use

Is this Pterodactyl Dinozord compatible with other Power Rangers Combinable sets?

Yes — the Re-Ignition Pterodactyl follows the same combinable system as the rest of the Mighty Morphin Dinozords, so it joins with other Playmates Combinable Dinozords to create the Megazord. The connection latches and pegs are built to standard dimensions used across the line, ensuring a secure assembly. Mixing and matching with other Re-Ignition releases or legacy-compatible toys yields full-size combined play options.

• Designed for secure peg-and-socket combination with other Dinozords
• Works with other Mighty Morphin Re-Ignition Combinable figures
• Enables full Megazord formation when all parts are collected

How durable and display-ready is this figure?

Playmates engineered the Pterodactyl for both active play and shelf display, using sturdy plastics and reinforced connectors where the Dinozord combines. Paint and sculpting echo the on-screen look while tolerating typical play wear. When not in action, it forms an eye-catching centerpiece — especially as the Megazord chest piece within a combined display.

• Durable plastics at stress points for repeated combining
• Detailed sculpt and paint inspired by the original show
• Small parts and projectiles are removable for display or storage
