Platypus Orthodontic Flossers for Braces — 30 Count (3 x 10) with Slim Spatula & Dual-Ended Pick

Platypus Orthodontic Flossers are purpose-built flossers that slip under arch wires and between brackets to make daily flossing for braces fast, safe, and more consistent.

Keeping teeth and gums clean while undergoing orthodontic treatment can be time-consuming with traditional floss. Platypus Orthodontic Flossers were developed with orthodontists to simplify flossing around brackets and wires. This pack includes 30 flossers (three 10-count strips) designed to cut down on threading, reduce frustration, and help users reach the gumline and interproximal spaces more effectively than conventional floss-for-braces workarounds.

How do Platypus flossers work with braces and arch wires?

The Platypus flosser has a slim spatula-shaped end that slides beneath the arch wire without bending or catching, letting you floss between teeth as usual. The patented geometry uses tooth anatomy to position the floss, so you clean the tooth surface and gumline rather than just running floss against the wire.

• Spatula end designed to fit under arch wires quickly and safely.
• Floss strand positioned to clean tooth surfaces and gum margins.
• Eliminates the need to thread floss with a separate threader in most cases.

Will these flossers damage brackets or wires?

Platypus flossers are made specifically to avoid stressing orthodontic hardware. The flosser’s shape and flexible materials reduce pressure on brackets and wires compared with improvised tools or aggressive threading techniques.

• Patented structure minimizes contact force on brackets.
• Flexible spatula glides under wires without bending them.
• Non-abrasive floss strand supports gentle plaque removal.

How much time do they save and are they child-friendly?

Because you no longer need to thread floss through every space, a full-mouth session can take under two minutes for many users. The simple push-and-floss motion is easy to teach children and teenagers, improving daily compliance.

• Fast flossing — often whole mouth in less than two minutes.
• Proven to increase flossing consistency versus traditional methods.
• Simple technique suitable for older children and adults alike.

What added features does the flosser include?

Each flosser pairs the flossing head with a pointed pick on the opposite end to remove trapped food around brackets and between teeth. The dual-ended design makes it a convenient all-in-one tool for on-the-go oral care during orthodontic treatment.

• Pick end clears food debris near brackets and between teeth.
• Dual-ended design eliminates need for extra picks or threaders.
• Compact shape fits easily in a pocket, purse, or lunchbox.

Who is this for? Platypus Orthodontic Flossers are aimed at anyone wearing braces—teens, adults, and caregivers—who want a quicker, less frustrating way to maintain interdental cleanliness without risking damage to wires or brackets. They are especially helpful for people who struggle with traditional flossing methods, those seeking to improve daily compliance, and parents teaching children consistent oral hygiene while in orthodontic care. Made in the USA and recommended by orthodontic professionals, this three-pack of 30 flossers offers a practical, everyday tool to streamline flossing during orthodontic treatment.
