Pilot Precise V5 is an extra-fine 0.5 mm rollerball pen that delivers crisp, archival-safe blue lines with a smooth, skip-free feel.

These PILOT Precise V5 pens combine an ultra-fine metal-tipped point with fluid liquid ink to make precise writing and detailed sketching effortless. The pack of 12 provides consistent performance across schoolwork, office tasks, journaling, and creative projects. Each pen features Pilot’s patented precise-point technology and a capped design with a metal clip and a translucent barrel so you can monitor ink supply.

How precise are the 0.5 mm tips for everyday writing?

The 0.5 mm extra-fine tip is designed to produce thin, controlled lines ideal for neat note-taking, small handwriting, and intricate sketches. Because the tip is metal-backed and engineered for control, you can write densely on planners or annotate documents without bulky strokes.

• Extra-fine 0.5 mm point for detailed, small-scale writing
• Metal tip stabilizes the nib for consistent line width
• Perfect for planners, forms, and technical notes

What kind of ink does the Pilot Precise V5 use and will it last?

The pens use a liquid, archival-safe blue ink formulated to resist fading and maintain legibility over time. This makes them suitable for records, schoolwork, and documents you want to preserve—while still offering the smooth flow associated with rollerball pens.

• Archival-safe, acid-free blue ink resists fading
• Liquid ink provides smooth, skip-free strokes
• Transparent barrel lets you see remaining ink

How comfortable and practical are these pens for long sessions?

Pilot Precise V5 pens are lightweight with a capped design that prevents drying and accidental marks when stored. The metal clip secures the pen to notebooks or pockets, and the balanced shape reduces hand fatigue during extended writing or study sessions.

• Capped design keeps tips fresh and prevents smudging
• Metal clip for secure transport on notebooks or pockets
• Balanced body for comfortable, extended use

Are these pens good for creative work like sketching and drafting?

Yes — the combination of a controlled extra-fine tip and fluid ink makes these pens well-suited to detailed drawings, technical lines, and fine cross-hatching. The steady flow supports consistent line density, helpful for both precise illustrations and careful handwriting.

• Reliable for fine cross-hatching and detailed line work
• Consistent ink flow avoids skips during sketches
• Pack of 12 ensures you have spares for long projects
