PIGEON Silicone Baby Bottle Nipple LL for 9+ Months — 4-Count, Anti-Colic Vent & Latch‑On Design

PIGEON Silicone Nipple (LL) with Latch‑On Line is a 4‑count replacement nipple designed for babies 9 months and older, combining a breast‑like softness, guided latch geometry and anti‑colic vents for smoother feeds.

Built from 100% BPA‑free silicone and shaped from feeding behavior research in Japan, this LL nipple offers a staged flow suited to older infants who are ready for faster milk transfer. The design emphasizes three natural tongue and jaw movements of babies during feeding, helping a steady transition between breast and bottle while reducing swallowed air. Each pack contains four identical LL nipples intended to fit compatible PIGEON bottles and many standard designs.

How does the Latch‑On Line help my baby attach correctly?

The subtly curved latch line is sculpted to direct the baby’s lower lip and tongue to an effective sealing position, promoting a stable latch and efficient milk suction. It aids natural mouth mechanics without forcing an artificial hold.

• Curved rim guides lower lip placement for consistent seal
• Matches typical tongue movement patterns observed in infants
• Supports smooth transition from breastfeeding to bottle

What features reduce air ingestion and fussiness?

An integrated anti‑colic venting pathway lets air bypass the milk channel, limiting the volume of air swallowed during feeds. That venting reduces gulped air and can improve comfort for many babies during and after feeding.

• Advanced venting system diverts air away from the mouth
• Shaped to maintain steady milk flow and prevent gulping
• Compatible with standard bottle cleaning and sterilizing routines

Is the silicone soft enough to mimic breastfeeding?

The nipple is crafted from soft, flexible silicone that closely approximates breast tissue softness, supporting natural tongue movement and latch dynamics. This helps babies who are switching between breast and bottle accept the nipple more readily.

• 100% silicone material for a supple, resilient feel
• Designed to flex with baby’s mouth for comfortable feeding
• BPA‑free composition for everyday use and peace of mind

When should I choose the LL stage and how do I maintain them?

The LL size is recommended for infants aged 9 months and up who need a faster flow rate that matches their improved sucking ability. Regular inspection, cleaning and replacement when worn will ensure consistent performance and hygiene.

• LL recommended for 9+ months and increased suction strength
• Wash with warm soapy water, sterilize following manufacturer guidance
• Replace if you notice thinning, tears or persistent clogging

Who is this for: Parents and caregivers seeking a replacement or backup nipple that eases the transition between breast and bottle for older infants. Ideal for babies ready for a quicker flow and for families wanting a soft silicone nipple with guided latch geometry and anti‑colic venting. These four nipples suit parents who prefer having spares for day, night and daycare use, and who value easy cleaning and compatibility with PIGEON bottle systems.
