pidan Tofu Cat Litter 2×5.3 lb Pack — Clumping, Flushable, Ultra-Absorbent & Low Dust

pidan Tofu Cat Litter is a 100% natural, fast-clumping, low-dust tofu-based litter that absorbs quickly, flushes in water, and includes embedded occult blood test particles for easy at-home detection of trace blood.

This dual-bag pack (2 × 5.3 lb) blends two pellet sizes to reduce scatter, speed clumping and maximize absorption while remaining biologically friendly and largely dust-free. The formula uses selected pea dregs for sponge-like water uptake, dissolves in water for convenient disposal, and has micro particles that turn blue in the presence of trace, colorless blood — giving caretakers an early visual cue without specialized equipment. Follow simple handling notes to preserve the test particles and avoid mixing with clay-based litters.

How does this litter control moisture and form clumps quickly?

The pea-dreg tofu base soaks up liquid rapidly and binds it into compact clumps that are easy to scoop. Smaller and larger pellet diameters are combined to improve surface contact and internal absorption, reducing the chance of wet material reaching the litterbox bottom.

• 70% 2.0 mm pellets + 30% 1.5 mm pellets for balanced clumping.
• Sponge-like structure for fast absorption and less product used per cleanup.
• Compact clumps simplify daily scooping and reduce odor retention.

In what situation will the occult blood test change color, and how should I interpret it?

Small test particles embedded in the litter will turn blue when they come into contact with otherwise colorless trace amounts of blood. This color change can persist up to 48 hours and is intended as a visual signal for caretakers to check their cat’s health or consult a veterinarian if concerned.

• Detects low-concentration hemoglobin equivalents; color change visible even with faint traces.
• Color change lasts up to 48 hours for reliable observation during routine checks.
• Avoid relying on this as a definitive diagnosis — use it as an initial visual alert.

Is the litter safe to flush and what disposal precautions should I follow?

The tofu formula is water-soluble and can be flushed in small amounts; this allows easier disposal than non-soluble litters. To protect plumbing, flush incrementally rather than disposing of large volumes all at once, and never mix this litter with heavy mineral or bentonite-based products before flushing.

• Designed to dissolve in water — flush small quantities at a time.
• Do not mix with bentonite/clay litters; minerals can affect solubility and the blood-test function.
• Store in its vacuum packaging for transport, but air leakage does not impair performance.

How dusty and scatter-prone is this litter compared with other options?

The product is formulated to be really dust-free and less scatter-prone thanks to its pellet size distribution and natural binding. That means cleaner floors, fewer tracked particles, and reduced inhalable dust for both pets and people.

• Low-dust tofu base minimizes airborne particles during pouring and scooping.
• Dual-pellet sizing reduces scatter from paws and keeps litter inside the box longer.
• Improved wrapping properties help solids and liquids cling to pellets rather than spreading.

Who is this for: pidan Tofu Cat Litter suits cat owners looking for a natural, low-dust litter that clumps quickly, dissolves in water for easier disposal, and offers an added visual safety cue via occult blood test particles. It’s a good fit for multi-cat households seeking less scatter, caretakers wanting a flushable option, and anyone who appreciates a plant-based alternative—provided users avoid mixing it with clay or exposing the test particles to intense light or metal friction to preserve their function.
