Philips Avent Natural Glass Baby Bottles 4 oz 4-Pack — Slow-Flow, BPA-Free Borosilicate with Anti-Colic Nipple

Philips Avent Natural Glass 4oz bottles are borosilicate glass baby bottles with a breast-shaped, slow-flow nipple that lets infants control milk flow while reducing spills and air intake.

These 4-pack Natural glass bottles combine durable, heat-resistant borosilicate glass with a soft, wide nipple designed to support a latch similar to breastfeeding. Each bottle ships with a Flow 2 slow-flow Natural Response nipple that releases milk only when baby actively drinks, helping maintain a natural feeding rhythm. The bottles are BPA-free and made for easy cleaning and sterilizing, with an anti-colic valve built into the nipple to direct air away from baby’s tummy.

How does the Natural Response nipple help when combining breast and bottle feeding?

The Natural Response nipple is shaped and textured to feel like a breast and only dispenses milk when the baby creates suction, enabling a feeding rhythm closer to breastfeeding. This design supports a responsive latch and fewer interruptions during feeds.

• Soft, wide nipple mimics natural breast shape for latch comfort
• Milk only flows when baby actively drinks, letting baby set the pace
• No-drip Flow 2 feature reduces wasted milk and mess
• Compatible with other Philips Avent Natural Response nipples and flow sizes

Will these glass bottles stand up to everyday use and cleaning?

The bottles are crafted from premium borosilicate glass, which resists thermal shock and can be refrigerated, warmed, washed, and sterilized without degrading. Their wide neck and minimal parts simplify filling, rinsing, and reassembling after cleaning.

• Borosilicate glass for durability and temperature resistance
• BPA-free construction for peace of mind
• Wide bottle opening for easy pouring and thorough cleaning
• Few components make sterilizing and reassembling quick

How does the anti-colic valve work and what does it do during feeding?

The integrated anti-colic valve channels air away from the milk flow and baby’s mouth, helping reduce swallowed air during feeds. It operates automatically as part of the nipple structure, without extra pieces to assemble.

• Valve is built into the nipple—no separate vent parts
• Directs air toward the back of the bottle, not the baby
• Helps minimize gas and discomfort associated with swallowed air
• Works in concert with baby-led sucking patterns for steady flow

When should I switch nipple flow rates for my baby?

Flow rates are a guideline tied to feeding development rather than fixed ages—watch your baby’s cues for choking, gulping, or frustration to decide when to change. Philips Avent offers multiple flow sizes; this pack includes Flow 2 slow flow suitable for early feeders or those needing a gentle pace.

• Flow 2 included for slow, controlled milk release
• Increase flow if baby consistently struggles or feeds very quickly
• Decrease flow if baby coughs, sputters, or shows discomfort
• Observe feeding rhythm rather than relying solely on age charts

They suit caregivers who prioritize easy cleaning, temperature resilience, and a slow, baby-controlled flow—especially families blending breast and bottle feeds or who want a premium, reusable bottle option.
