Philips Avent Anti-Colic Baby Bottle 11 oz — Wide Neck, Flow 3 Fast-Flow Anti-Colic Nipple

This 11-ounce Philips Avent bottle combines a soft silicone anti-colic nipple with a flexible valve to divert air away from baby’s tummy and help avoid interrupted feeding caused by nipple collapse. Built from BPA-free materials and engineered to be simple to clean, the bottle fits most Philips Avent components so you can adapt nipple flows and parts as your baby grows. The Flow 3 nipple in this set suits faster feeders while replacement Anti-colic nipples are available in flows 1–4 for younger or older infants.

How does the anti-colic valve reduce swallowed air?

The valve is integrated into the nipple and flexes during feeding so air travels away from the milk, rather than into the baby’s mouth. This prevents a vacuum from forming inside the bottle, allowing milk to flow steadily without the nipple collapsing. It’s a mechanical design to manage airflow—simple and passive during use.

• Valve located inside the silicone nipple for continuous airflow control
• Flexes with sucking motion to prevent vacuum build-up
• Directs air to the back of the bottle, not into baby’s mouth
• Works with multiple nipple flow rates for age-appropriate feeding

Can I use this bottle with or without the AirFree vent?

Yes. The bottle is compatible with the AirFree vent, which can be added if you prefer an additional way to keep the nipple full of milk during upright feeding. The bottle also performs effectively without the vent thanks to the integrated anti-colic valve; choose the configuration that best fits your baby’s feeding habits.

• Use with AirFree vent for additional upright feeding control
• Use without the vent for a simpler setup and fewer parts to clean
• Interchangeable with most Philips Avent nipples and parts
• Flow 3 nipple included for moderate-to-fast milk flow

How easy is this bottle to clean and assemble?

The wide neck and limited number of components make washing and reassembly straightforward, whether you hand-clean or use a sterilizer. Smooth, rounded edges minimize trapped milk residue and simplify drying. This design helps parents maintain hygienic feeding gear with less effort.

• Wide-neck opening for easy access when scrubbing or sterilizing
• Only a few parts to disassemble and reassemble quickly
• BPA-free materials suitable for repeated cleaning routines
• Rounded surfaces reduce hard-to-reach crevices

Which nipple flow should I choose and can I switch later?

The set comes with Flow 3 nipples, which are intended for babies who need a quicker milk flow. Philips Avent offers Anti-colic nipples in flows 1–4 so you can match your baby’s feeding pace and swap nipples as needed. Changing nipple flows is an easy way to adapt the same bottle as your baby grows.

• Included Flow 3 for moderate-to-fast feeders
• Replacement nipples available in flows 1, 2, 3, and 4
• Swapping nipples is quick and compatible with Avent bottles
• Helps avoid the need to buy new bottles as feeding needs change

Who is this for? This Philips Avent 11 oz Anti-colic bottle is intended for parents seeking a thoughtfully engineered feeding bottle that reduces air intake during feeding, is easy to clean, and adapts as baby’s feeding pace changes. It’s suitable for caregivers who value interchangeability with other Philips Avent parts, want BPA-free materials, and prefer a bottle that supports steady feeding behavior without excessive components to manage.
