Phenyx Pro Dual UHF Wireless Handheld Microphone System PTU-71-2H — Auto-Scan, Metal Receiver, Long-Range

The Phenyx Pro PTU-71-2H is a dual handheld UHF wireless microphone system with auto-scan frequency selection, long-range transmission, and pro-style metal construction for clear vocal performance.

Designed for entertainers, speakers, and venues that need dependable wireless audio, this dual-channel set pairs two handheld mics with a single metal receiver that auto-selects the cleanest UHF frequencies. The system combines PLL-synthesized stability, IR sync, and a tuned vocal response to reduce dropouts and keep voices sounding full and present in live settings.

How does the auto-scan feature simplify setup?

The auto-scan quickly searches both UHF bands and locks each channel to the least congested frequency, cutting manual tuning time and reducing interference during events. IR synchronization lets the receiver and each microphone match frequencies effortlessly for a fast, reliable link.

• Auto Scan finds optimal channels across two 100-frequency banks.
• IR sync pairs microphones to the receiver in seconds.
• Lock function secures chosen frequencies against accidental changes.
• Supports coordinated multi-set operation up to 16 transmitters.

What sound quality and pickup pattern should I expect?

The handheld microphones use a cardioid pickup pattern to focus on the performer’s voice while rejecting ambient noise, producing a balanced midrange with fuller lows and bright highs. The EQ is tuned to a consumer-preferred response similar to professional reference curves, which helps vocals cut through live mixes without sounding harsh.

• Cardioid polar pattern minimizes background noise pickup.
• Tuned frequency response for clear, natural-sounding vocals.
• Replaceable mic head extends long-term usability.
• Mute function on each mic provides instant control during performances.

How far will the wireless signal reach and how reliable is it?

The PTU-71-2H delivers line-of-sight range of roughly 290–328 feet, suitable for most small-to-medium venues, houses of worship, and event spaces. Using PLL frequency synthesis and dual UHF bands helps minimize dropouts and interference for steady transmission during shows.

• Dual UHF ranges: Channel 1 (536.57–561.32 MHz), Channel 2 (562.37–587.12 MHz).
• Approximately 290–328 ft line-of-sight operation.
• PLL synthesis improves frequency stability and reduces noise.
• Two independent 100-frequency banks for flexible channel planning.

What accessories and build quality come with the system?

The set arrives ready to install with a metal receiver, two handheld microphones, antennas, cables, adapters, batteries, and mounting accessories. The receiver and microphones sport metal construction for durability and a professional feel, while included rubber feet and anti-rolling rings protect gear during transport and setup.

• Included: dual-channel receiver, 2 handheld mics, antennas, power adapter.
