PetRuna Extra Wide 20" Dog Stairs for Large Dogs — 4-Step Aluminum Ramp, Non-Slip Tread

These collapsible, extra-wide steps combine a rust-resistant metal frame, non-slip tread, and a lightweight carryable design so big dogs can enter and exit vehicles and furniture with less strain on joints. Built to hold up to 250 pounds, the stair folds compactly for trunk storage and includes safety features like a rubber base, carabiner tether, and foam handle to protect both pet and vehicle.

How do these stairs reduce joint strain for large dogs?

The PetRuna four-step layout creates a gentle incline that keeps step height minimal and avoids steep jumps that stress hips and knees. Wider treads let dogs place all four paws comfortably on each step, increasing balance and reducing slipping or hesitancy.

• Extra-wide 20" steps for secure paw placement and improved balance
• Gentle rise across four steps to lower pressure on hips and shoulders
• Non-slip paw-print surface for traction during ascent and descent

Is this stair sturdy enough for large or heavy dogs?

Yes — each step is reinforced with high-grade, rust-resistant metal and additional load bars to support heavier pets. The overall structure was engineered to hold up to 250 pounds while remaining lightweight enough to carry and store.

• High-grade aluminum frame resists corrosion and bending
• Additional internal load bars increase weight-bearing capacity
• Foam-wrapped handle and secure folding latch for safe transport

What safety features prevent slipping and movement during use?

Multiple anti-slip elements keep the stairs stable on varied surfaces. A textured, paw-print tread prevents paw slippage while a rubberized base grips floors and cargo liners; the updated carabiner tether secures the stair to the vehicle for double protection.

• Textured non-slip surface for traction in wet or dry conditions
• Rubber skid feet to stop sliding on smooth or angled surfaces
• Carabiner safety tether to anchor stairs inside trunks or to vehicle edges

How portable and easy to store are these dog stairs?

PetRuna designed the stairs to fold compactly and weigh only about 13 pounds, making them practical for travel and everyday use. When collapsed they reduce to a trunk-friendly size so you can store them without sacrificing cargo space.

• Folds down to approximately 20 × 17.3 × 7 inches for trunk storage
• Lightweight 13 lb frame for carrying to picnics, camps, or vet visits
• Foam handle protects vehicle paint and increases carry comfort
