PetLab Co. Dental Water Additive for Dogs & Cats, 8 fl oz — Daily Breath & Tartar Support

PetLab Co. Dental Formula is a daily water additive for dogs and cats that helps reduce odor-causing compounds and supports cleaner-looking teeth and healthier gums when used once daily.

Keeping up with pet oral care doesn’t have to mean brushing battles or special treats. This 8 fl oz water additive from PetLab Co. is formulated for dogs and cats 12 weeks and older and uses stabilized chlorine dioxide to target odor-causing compounds and help limit tartar buildup. It mixes into a pet’s drinking water—flavorless and odorless once diluted—so you can add oral care to your routine with minimal fuss.

How does this product help my pet’s breath?

Stabilized chlorine dioxide targets the compounds that commonly create unpleasant breath in pets. When used daily and diluted correctly, the additive helps reduce those odor contributors, making breath noticeably fresher over time without adding flavor that could deter drinking.

• Active ingredient: stabilized chlorine dioxide to address odor-causing molecules
• Mixes into drinking water—no brushing required
• Reported improvement in breath for many users within weeks

Will this help with tartar and hard-to-reach areas?

The water-based formula reaches areas a toothbrush may miss by working continuously as pets drink. It’s designed to support reduced tartar accumulation and help maintain cleaner-looking teeth with regular use alongside routine veterinary care.

• Daily use helps limit new tartar buildup
• Supports oral hygiene in crevices often missed during brushing
• Best used as part of a complete dental routine including vet checkups

How do I use the Dental Formula safely and effectively?

Shake the bottle well before measuring. Mix 1 teaspoon (5 ml) into 8 fl oz (about 240 ml) of fresh water once per day, replacing the water daily. The solution becomes flavorless and odorless when diluted, so pets typically accept it without issue.

• Dose: 1 teaspoon (5 ml) per 8 fl oz of water once daily
• Shake before use and provide fresh diluted water each day
• For pets 12+ weeks old; follow packaging and vet guidance for concerns

What results should I expect and how quickly?

Individual outcomes vary, but many pet parents notice improvements in breath and overall oral freshness with consistent use within weeks to a few months. The formula supports cleaner-looking teeth and gum health over time when used daily, though it’s not a substitute for professional dental care when needed.

• Some users report fresher breath within weeks
• Continued use supports cleaner-looking teeth and gum maintenance
• Not a replacement for professional dental cleanings when advised by a vet

Who is this for: PetLab Co. Dental Formula is designed for busy pet owners who want an easy, noninvasive way to add oral care to their cat or dog’s daily routine. It’s suitable for dogs and cats aged 12 weeks and older, especially households seeking a no-brush option to help manage breath odor and support cleaner teeth between veterinary visits. Keep regular veterinary dental checkups as part of your pet’s overall oral health plan.
