PETKARAY Under-Furniture Cat Scratcher — 23.6" Sisal Corner Scratching Post for Sofa with Toy Ball, Stable Wooden Base

The PETKARAY Under-Furniture Cat Scratcher is a 23.6-inch sisal-wrapped vertical scratch post engineered to fit snugly against couch corners and protect sofas while giving cats a durable, stable place to scratch.

This corner-shaped scratcher is built to sit flush with furniture edges so cats can scratch vertically where they naturally like to stretch. Wrapped in natural sisal, mounted on a wide wooden base and supplied with a dangling toy ball and optional catnip, the unit provides tactile appeal and stability to redirect scratching away from upholstery. Assembly is straightforward and tools are minimal, making it simple to set up near favorite seating areas.

How does this fit my sofa and save upholstery?

The PETKARAY scratcher features a couch-corner profile designed to nestle against armrests and corners. Because it occupies the usual scratching zone, cats are less likely to attack fabric and seams. Place it where your cat usually strikes and the visible sisal texture will attract their attention.

• Corner-shaped to match sofa edges and armrests
• Vertical surface encourages natural stretching and scratching
• Redirects clawing from fabric to sisal-covered post

Will it stay upright with active scratching?

Yes — the scratcher sits on a wide, heavy wooden base and includes reinforced supports to limit wobble. Even energetic cats that leap and knead will find the post steady. For households with particularly boisterous cats, position the base against furniture for added support.

• Wide wooden base distributes force evenly
• Reinforced connector reduces tipping
• Designed for cats of different sizes and activity levels

What materials are used and how do I clean or maintain it?

The post is wrapped in natural sisal, a durable fiber cats love to scratch, mounted on a solid wood base. Cleaning is low-effort: vacuum loose fibers and spot-clean the base with a damp cloth. If the sisal becomes very worn, the unit can be replaced or rewrapped depending on your maintenance preference.

• Natural sisal surface preferred by most cats
• Solid wood base wipes clean and resists stains
• Simple vacuuming removes stray fibers and debris

Does it include toys or extras to attract my cat?

Yes — the PETKARAY model comes with a dangling toy ball to encourage play and investigation. A small sachet of catnip is suggested for use if your cat needs extra motivation to start using the scratcher. These extras make the post both a play and scratch destination.

• Hanging toy ball stimulates batting and reaching
• Catnip can be added to boost interest for reluctant cats
• Combines play and scratching to keep cats engaged

This scratcher assembles quickly with supplied instructions and is built to work immediately next to couches, chairs, and other upholstered surfaces. Its shape, textures, and toy elements are chosen to match how cats naturally interact with furniture: vertical scratching, stretching, and light batting.

Who is this for? The PETKARAY Under-Furniture Cat Scratcher suits cat owners who want a targeted protection solution for sofas and armchairs, especially in homes where cats frequently scratch upholstery. It’s appropriate for single- and multi-cat households, owners who prefer natural sisal surfaces, and anyone looking for a sturdy, easy-to-assemble option that combines scratching with gentle play.
