Pentel EnerGel RTX 0.7mm is a premium liquid-gel pen that delivers fast-drying blue ink, smooth medium lines, and a comfortable latex-free grip for everyday writing.

The Pentel EnerGel RTX RT (0.7mm) combines liquid and gel ink technologies to produce clean, consistent strokes with minimal bleed and rapid drying—ideal for note-taking, forms, and everyday correspondence. Each box contains 12 pens with stainless steel tips and subtle metal accents on the barrel that present a professional appearance while remaining lightweight. Refillable with EnerGel refills, these pens are built for long-term use and are backed by a limited lifetime warranty for peace of mind.

How quickly does the ink dry and why does that matter?

The EnerGel liquid-gel formulation is designed to set on paper quickly, reducing smears and transfer. Fast drying is especially helpful for left-handed writers and for working on glossy or coated paper where slower inks tend to smear. You get clearer notes and cleaner documents with less waiting time between writing and handling.

• Fast-dry liquid-gel ink minimizes smearing on contact.
• Consistent flow prevents blobs and skips during long writing sessions.
• Blue ink keeps writing readable and suitable for forms or signatures.

What makes the RTX comfortable for long writing sessions?

The RTX features a latex-free, ribbed grip that reduces hand fatigue and improves control, while the balanced round barrel is shaped for a natural hold. The stainless steel tip gives a precise feel as the pen glides, so lines stay steady without heavy pressure. Together these features support comfortable, consistent writing across pages.

• Latex-free ribbed grip for reduced slippage and added comfort.
• Round barrel design offers ergonomic balance when writing for extended periods.
• 0.7mm tip produces medium lines that suit notes, journaling, and everyday tasks.

Can these pens handle heavy use and are they refillable?

Yes—the EnerGel RTX is refillable using Pentel EnerGel refills, letting you extend the life of each pen and maintain consistent ink performance. The stainless steel tip and robust internal feed are built to withstand frequent use without clogging or uneven flow. The box of 12 provides immediate stock for classrooms, offices, or personal use.

• Compatible with EnerGel refills in various sizes and colors for economical reuse.
• Durable stainless steel tip resists wear and preserves consistent line width.
• Box quantity (12) supports shared environments and bulk needs.

How precise and visible are the 0.7mm medium lines?

The 0.7mm stainless steel tip lays down medium-width lines that balance legibility with precision—thicker than a fine tip but thinner than a bold. This width works well for everyday handwriting, annotations, and signatures where clarity matters. The vivid blue ink remains clear without excessive bleed through most standard papers.

• 0.7mm tip delivers consistent medium strokes suitable for general writing.
• Blue ink provides strong contrast on white or off-white papers.
• Engineered flow keeps lines even across different paper textures.
