Peet's Coffee Espresso Capsules — Crema Scura Medium Roast, 50-Count Nespresso Original Compatible, Intensity 9

Peet's Crema Scura Espresso Capsules deliver a thick, creamy medium-roast espresso with earthy, nutty notes and a lasting finish in convenient recyclable aluminum pods.

Inspired by the dark, velvety crema found at Peet's coffee bars, these single-serve aluminum capsules hold 100% Arabica coffee roasted to a medium level and dialed to an Intensity 9. Each sealed capsule preserves aroma and flavor for a consistently rich, full-bodied espresso that produces a dense crema and smooth finish. The pack includes five boxes of 10 capsules (50 total) designed for Nespresso Original machines and compatible models.

What flavor and roast profile should I expect from Crema Scura?

Crema Scura is a medium roast balanced toward bold, espresso-style character rather than bright acidity. Expect earthy and nutty base notes with a creamy mouthfeel and an enduring finish that highlights roasted sweetness.

• Roast: Medium with a focused espresso intensity (Intensity 9)
• Taste notes: earthy, nutty, and roasted-sweet undertones
• Texture: dense, creamy crema and smooth body
• Beans: 100% Arabica for cleaner, refined espresso flavor

Which machines will these capsules work with?

Peet's aluminum capsules are made to fit Nespresso Original-compatible machines, not Nespresso Vertuo models. Confirm your machine is an Original-line brewer for proper fit and extraction.

• Compatible: Essenza Mini, Essenza Plus, Pixie, CitiZ, Lattissima, KitchenAid, Creatista, and other Nespresso Original machines
• Not compatible: Nespresso Vertuo machines
• Brewing recommendations: Ristretto (0.85 oz / 25 ml) or Espresso (1.35 oz / 40 ml) pulls

How are these capsules packaged and recycled?

Capsules come sealed in aluminum to lock in freshness; the product ships as five boxes of ten capsules for a total of 50 servings. Peet's offers a mail-back recycling program to ensure aluminum is reclaimed responsibly.

• Pack size: five boxes x 10 capsules = 50 capsules
• Sealed aluminum capsules preserve aroma and flavor until use
• Recycling: participate in Peet's mail-back aluminum recycling program
• Storage: keep in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight for best freshness

How should I brew to get the best crema and balance?

Use the short pulls recommended for espresso to concentrate flavor and develop crema. Adjust extraction slightly by machine settings or tamping-equivalent mechanics if available, and enjoy straight or in milk-based drinks.

• Use Ristretto (25 ml) for a concentrated shot with thick crema
• Use Espresso (40 ml) for a fuller cup with balanced texture
• Try with steamed milk for lattes or cappuccinos to highlight the creamy finish
• Consume soon after brewing for optimal aroma and crema quality

Who is this for: Peet's Crema Scura Espresso Capsules suit home espresso lovers who want café-style crema and bold medium-roast flavor without grinding beans or dosing each shot. It's a strong choice for owners of Nespresso Original-compatible machines seeking consistent single-serve performance, recyclable packaging, and 100% Arabica taste in a convenient 50-count pack.
