P & S PROFESSIONAL DETAIL PRODUCTS Brake Buster Wheel Cleaner — 1 Pint Non-Acid Gel, Removes Brake Dust & Light Corrosion

P&S Professional Detail Products Brake Buster is formulated as a thick, non-acid gel that clings to wheel surfaces to lift stubborn contaminants without etching or harming steel, aluminum, chrome, painted or powder-coated rims. Its corrosion-inhibiting ingredients loosen brake dust, iron particles, and road grime so they rinse away cleanly. Use it straight from the bottle or dilute in a foam sprayer for expansive coverage. The product is designed to be followed by sealants or ceramic coatings to prolong wheel appearance.

How quickly does Brake Buster remove brake dust and road grime?

Brake Buster works within minutes by softening and breaking the bond between contaminants and the wheel surface. The gel formula clings, allowing active cleaners to penetrate buildup without constant scrubbing.

• Sits on surfaces for about 5 minutes to loosen deposits.
• Gel consistency increases dwell time on vertical surfaces.
• Agitation with a soft brush speeds removal of heavy deposits.
• Rinse with water to wash away dissolved contaminants.

Is this safe for all wheel types and finishes?

Yes — Brake Buster’s non-acid chemistry was created to clean aggressively while remaining gentle on common wheel coatings. It is safe on steel, aluminum, alloy, chrome, painted and powder-coated finishes when used according to directions.

• Non-acid formula avoids etching delicate finishes.
• Safe for painted spokes, sealed alloys and chrome barrels.
• Works on brake components exposed behind the wheel face.
• Follow with a wheel sealant for extra protection.

How should I apply Brake Buster for best results?

Start by rinsing wheels to remove loose dirt. Apply Brake Buster to the wheel face, barrel, tire sidewall and exposed brake parts, allow about five minutes for dwell, agitate with a soft-bristle brush, then rinse thoroughly and dry.

• Spray wheels and tires with water first to clear loose grime.
• Apply product evenly; ensure barrel and pockets are covered.
• Agitate with a soft brush to reach nooks and crevices.
• Rinse and dry with a microfiber towel; follow with sealant if desired.

Can I dilute Brake Buster or use it with a foam sprayer?

Yes — the product can be used full-strength or diluted in foam sprayers for broader coverage and economy. Dilution produces thick foam that clings to surfaces and lifts contaminants with reduced product use.

• Use straight from the bottle for heavy contamination.
• Dilute in a foam sprayer for maintenance washes and larger jobs.
• Foam increases contact time on vertical surfaces and in pockets.
• Always agitate and rinse after dwell for best finish results.
