OXO Good Grips 3-Quart Stainless Steel Colander — Non-Slip Handles & Stable Feet

OXO Good Grips 3-qt Stainless Steel Colander is a sturdy, easy-grip strainer designed for fast draining, stable countertop use, and convenient nesting with mixing bowls.

Whether you’re rinsing fruit, draining pasta, or washing grains, this 3-quart colander from OXO blends durable stainless steel construction with thoughtful touches—elevated non-slip handles, three stabilizing feet, and a perforation pattern that moves water quickly. It nests in OXO stainless steel mixing bowls for compact storage and works equally well in the sink or on the counter. The compact size makes it handy for everyday kitchen prep while still handling family-sized batches when needed.

How quickly does the colander drain liquids?

The colander’s perforation layout is engineered for rapid water flow without allowing food to slip through. The pattern balances flow rate with particle retention so you get fast, thorough draining for pasta, vegetables, and beans.

• Wide, evenly spaced perforations for efficient water evacuation
• Stainless steel surface resists clogging and is easy to rinse clean
• Raised feet keep holes unobstructed when resting on a sink or counter

Will it stay steady when filled and lifted?

Yes — the three-footed base provides a stable platform on flat surfaces, while the elevated non-slip handles give you a secure hold when lifting or pouring. The handles are shaped for comfort and reduced strain when handling heavier batches.

• Three stamped feet create a balanced stance and keep water drainage open
• Non-slip grips reduce chance of slipping when hands are wet
• Handles are elevated to clear counter edges and allow two-handed lifts

How does it fit into kitchen storage and use?

The 3-qt colander nests neatly inside OXO stainless steel mixing bowls for compact storage, freeing up cabinet space. It’s sized so you can use it directly in the sink for rinsing or on the countertop for cooling and serving tasks.

• Designed to nest with OXO stainless steel mixing bowls to save space
• Compact 3-quart capacity for everyday tasks without crowding cabinets
• Durable steel construction resists warping for long-term use

Is this colander easy to clean and durable?

Constructed from stainless steel, the colander resists stains and odors and wipes or rinses clean easily after use. Its simple shape and solid handles minimize crevices where food can accumulate, and the metal body withstands regular kitchen wear.

• All-stainless-steel body resists rust and staining
• Smooth, open perforations reduce trapped food particles
• Handles and feet are integrated for long-lasting durability

Who this is for: Home cooks who want a reliable, mid-size colander that drains quickly, stays steady when handled, and tucks away neatly in cabinets. It’s ideal for people who prepare everyday meals—washing produce, draining grains, or serving pasta—and who appreciate a durable, easy-to-clean tool that performs consistently and saves storage space.
