OXO Good Grips 2-Piece Tongs Set — 9" & 12" Stainless Steel with Heat-Resistant Nylon Heads, Non-Slip Ergonomic Handles

OXO Good Grips 2-Piece Tongs with Nylon Heads are a 9" and 12" stainless steel set with heat-resistant nylon heads and non-slip handles designed for safe use on non-stick cookware.

Whether you need a shorter pair for serving or a longer set for grilling and stovetop use, this OXO Good Grips twin pack covers common kitchen tasks without scratching cookware. Built from brushed stainless steel with soft, ergonomic grips and scalloped heads, the set combines durability and control. Each tong locks closed for compact storage and is dishwasher-safe for easy cleanup.

How do these tongs protect non-stick pans?

The nylon heads are heat-resistant and purposely gentle to avoid marring non-stick surfaces while still giving you enough bite to lift and turn food. The scalloped edges securely cradle ingredients without sliding.

• Soft nylon tips prevent metal-on-coating contact
• Scalloped head design holds food steadily
• Heat-resistant up to typical stovetop temperatures

Which sizes are included and when should I use each?

The set contains a 9-inch pair and a 12-inch pair so you can choose based on reach and control needs: the shorter for plating, tossing salads, or serving at the table; the longer for grilling, turning items on the stovetop, or reaching into deep pots.

• 9" tongs: precise control for serving and small pans
• 12" tongs: added reach for grills, roasts, and deep pots
• Keep both handy for varied tasks and multitasking

Are these tongs comfortable and easy to store?

Ergonomic, non-slip handles with thumb rests make gripping secure during long or slippery tasks, and a simple locking mechanism closes each tong for compact storage. The brushed stainless finish resists wear and looks clean on kitchen racks.

• Soft-grip handles reduce hand strain during use
• One-handed locking clip for tidy storage
• Dishwasher-safe for quick cleanup after use

What foods and cooking methods are these tongs best suited for?

Thanks to their sturdy stainless bodies and gentle nylon heads, these tongs are versatile enough for grilling, sautéing, serving salads, and handling delicate items like fish or baked goods without scraping cookware.

• Flipping burgers, chicken, and vegetables on grills or pans
• Tossing salads and serving pasta or cold dishes
• Handling delicate proteins and baked items safely
