Owala FreeSip Stainless Steel Water Bottle 40 oz Out of the Blue — Dual-Drink Spout, 24-Hour Insulation

The Owala FreeSip 40 oz Out of the Blue is an insulated stainless-steel water bottle with a patented dual-drink FreeSip spout and a locking push-button lid for easy, spill-resistant hydration.

This roomy 40-ounce bottle combines two convenient drinking styles in one design: sip upright through the built-in straw or tilt back and swig from the wide-mouth spout. Built from double-wall insulated stainless steel, it keeps cold beverages chilled for up to 24 hours and includes a lid that locks shut and is dishwasher-safe for fast cleanup. The bottle is cup-holder friendly, has a wide opening for ice and washing, and comes with a limited lifetime warranty.

How does the FreeSip spout make drinking easier during activities?

The patented FreeSip spout gives you two ways to drink without swapping lids or losing momentum. The built-in straw lets you sip upright for quick hydration while the wide-mouth spout enables larger gulps when you need more volume fast.

• Dual-drink design: upright straw and tilt-to-sip spout
• Push-button open for one-handed access while moving
• Locking carry loop prevents accidental openings in bags

Will this bottle keep drinks cold and stay durable on the go?

Yes — the double-wall vacuum insulation preserves cold temperatures for up to 24 hours and the stainless-steel construction resists dents and corrosion from everyday use. It’s designed for active lifestyles and fits most vehicle cup holders for easy transport.

• Double-wall insulated stainless steel for long-lasting chill
• Cup-holder-friendly base for commuting and workouts
• Hand-wash bottle with dishwasher-safe lid for durability

How easy is it to clean, fill, and carry this 40-ounce bottle?

The wide opening accepts ice cubes and makes hand-washing straightforward. The removable straw and dishwasher-safe lid simplify maintenance, while the integrated carry loop doubles as a lock to secure the push-button lid during transport.

• Wide mouth for ice and easy hand cleaning
• Dishwasher-safe lid and easy-clean straw components
• Carry loop that locks the lid for spill protection

Are there any safety or care considerations I should know?

The bottle is free of BPA, lead, and phthalates and is designed for cold and room-temperature beverages only. The manufacturer recommends hand-washing the bottle itself and reserving the dishwasher for the lid to protect the insulated finish and seals.

• BPA-, lead-, and phthalate-free materials
• Not intended for hot liquids to protect seals and insulation
• Hand wash the bottle; lid is dishwasher-safe
