OTTWL Upgrade Anti-Tangle Motorized Replacement Head for Dyson V8 V10 V11 V15 - 43-Blade Hair-Reducing, Fits Low-Pile & Hard Floor

OTTWL Upgrade V8 Anti-Tangle Replacement Head is a plug-in motorized cleaner head built to fit Dyson V8, V10, V11 and V15 cordless vacuums and engineered to reduce hair wrap while lifting dirt from thin carpets and hard floors.

This replacement motor head swaps into compatible Dyson-style cordless sticks to restore brush-roll performance and cut down on hair tangles. It measures 9.84 × 3.9 × 6.1 inches and houses 43 anti-tangle blades that clear winding hairs away from the roller as you clean. Check your machine model before ordering — this head is tailored to specific Dyson models and is not suited for deep shag or long-haired carpets.

Will this replacement head work with my Dyson model?

It is engineered for Dyson V8, V10, V11 and V15 cordless vacuum models. Confirm the model printed on your vacuum or in its manual before buying to ensure a direct fit.

• Compatible: Dyson V8, V10, V11, V15 cordless series.
• Not compatible: V6, SV04, SV07, SV09, Digital Slim, V11 Outsize, V12/V12 Slim, Gen5, Ball Animal series, and many DC-series models.
• Fits standard stick-connector mounts on the supported models.
• Measure or check your model label if you’re uncertain.

How does the anti-tangle system help with pet hair and long strands?

The head uses an upgraded anti-tangle architecture with 43 flexible blades that divert and remove hair from the brush as it spins, reducing downtime for manual cleaning. This keeps suction and rolling action consistent on thin carpets and flat surfaces.

• 43 anti-tangle blades actively move hair off the roller.
• Reduces manual hair removal during cleaning sessions.
• Best results on thin carpet and hard floors — avoid shag or long-pile rugs.
• Maintains consistent suction by preventing brush-wrap build-up.

What surfaces should I use this head on?

This replacement head is intended for hard floors and low-pile carpeting. It is not suitable for deep-pile, shag rugs, or surfaces with very long fibers where the anti-tangle blades cannot clear wrapped material effectively.

• Recommended: hardwood, tile, laminate, and thin/low-pile carpets.
• Not for long-shag or high-pile carpeted areas.
• Works well for households with pets that shed shorter to medium-length fur.
• Avoid use on delicate or loose-weave rugs without testing first.

How do I install and maintain the replacement head?

Installation is a simple swap into the compatible Dyson-style connector — follow the included manual for step-by-step guidance. Routine maintenance involves clearing any coarse debris and checking the anti-tangle blades; occasional light cleaning of the roller keeps performance optimal.

• Turn off and detach the power source before swapping heads.
• Slide the head onto the vac’s wand until it clicks into place.
• Inspect and remove trapped hair or threads from the blades periodically.
• Consult the included user manual for safety and detailed instructions.

Who is this for: The OTTWL Upgrade V8 Anti-Tangle Replacement Head is aimed at owners of compatible Dyson cordless models who need a durable, anti-wrap brush solution for everyday dirt and pet hair on hard floors and low-pile carpets. If you own one of the supported models and want to reduce brush maintenance while restoring cleaning power, this head is a practical replacement — but it isn’t the right choice for deep shag rugs or unsupported Dyson models.
